Jan 13, 2016 I really doubted SWISH ever being better, but Real Friends and No More Parties in LA kind of made me think of the slight chance there is. I'll give it a 20% chance IMO, being generous and holding on to faith. Also, please don't be that guy that says something like "it doesn'T matter, all of ye's albums are good why compare any?" this is just for discussion fam.
Jan 13, 2016 At this point, knida feel like he'll never be able to top MBDTF nor LR nor the CD. It's probably gonna be something close to Yeezus but with more of beats like All Day. I hope I'm wrong in a way.
Jan 13, 2016 lmao the way i said that seemed like it but it wasn't just real friends, it was all the other songs like fade or wolves, his attitude towards the project, etc. idk its probably just me but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Jan 14, 2016 it doesn'T matter, all of ye's albums are good why compare any? Just kidding. I don't think any of his future albums can top MBDTF (btw I also think SWISH will be his last one) because of what happened way before, before, and after its release. What happened way before: 808s and Heartbreak releases to the surprise of everyone. The main consensus was that we all expected the finale of the College series and we got an album that is very much not that. 808s is praised by critics, but the fans start a civil war that's much like the war when Yeezus came out. What happened before: Tay-Swift incident. Kanye is put on blast by everyone, Barry Obombz included. Lady Gaga (the biggest pop star of that time) drops him from her tour. Kanye exiles himself to Hawaii. In November 22nd, 2010, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy drops. What happened after: Motherfuckin' praised by everyone -- critics and fans alike. MBDTF was nothing like we've ever heard before, as it took every milestone in the evolution of Kanye's sound and Voltron'd it into one album. Shaped the sound of hip hop from years on out (although I would still say that 808s remains the most innovative).
Jan 14, 2016 MBDTF era's feel is perfect But I feel like the argument for the better album will be up in the air
