Been smoking for 10 years and I take breaks often, some of you are acting like this isn't possible with the 'withdrawal symptoms' lol...

I agree there can be symptoms when you stop if you've been doing it on the regular for a while but some of you are making it sound a lot worse than it is. The only one I really get is I have trouble getting to sleep on my own but for those nights i just take zzzquil and then I'm fine.

Listen you little douchebag, Nobody in this thread has listed an addiction that causes physical withdrawal. It's all psychological dependancy. Even cigarettes. Like I get the same symptoms from quitting cigs as I do weed. I get agitated easily. If anything you're enforcing the stereotype by acting like a little fa---- at the thought of anyone having a hard time quitting weed. Try smoking the s--- literally daily for ten years and tell me you would have no problem just giving it up. I love weed as much as the next guy, but I'm not delusional about it.

Bruh once again it's cool to debate me but cmon fam lets not call eachother faggets or douchebags on the internet like we still in high school lol. I feel you bruh I just have a different POV.

EDIT: and I don't mean to belittle anyone's struggle. Habits can be hard to quit but that doesn't make you an addict our that s--- addicting. Where I get mad is when people use weed as a scape goat for their own mistakes. It's about taking responsibility and not pushing your BS on a harmless plant.

I"ve only smoked shisha/hookah a couple of times and felt like my lungs were deteriorating with just a few puffs. NEVER again. I don't know how you all do it. Refuse to try any other smoke ..

My weakness is sugar/sweets -cupcakes, brownies, cookies, nutella, ice cream, chocolates. Still diabetes free :emoji_blush:

    Lol.

    This.

There is no physical withdrawal symptoms of quitting marijuana. I've smoked daily, as in multiple times a day for over 5 years. The only "symptom" i've ever experienced when i quit was trouble falling alseep for a couple of days. And that's only because i was so used to smoking right before bed.

h---, my dad has been smoking weed for 35 years or so and i doubt he's ever experienced any withdrawal symptons.

Weed doesn't cause any physical dependence. Weed doesn't contain any addictive agents. What people get addicted to is the high. If you experience vomitting or other physical withdrawal symptoms, then there's something wrong with you and weed isn't the problem.

Ughhhh gross. Good choice jumping ship early I applaud you. Nicotine is the devil. So bad for you. Don't let that turn you off from the wonderful world of weed. Skip the smoking. Smoking no matter what is awful for you, Vaporizing is 100% better for you (contains .1% bad chemicals and 99.5% THC with a few other active ingredients that are harmless. plus its very easy on your lungs and throat). and if your not into that, using it for cooking is what I recommend most. Completely healthy, beneficial, delicious, and fun. I posted a recipe for special Eggs in this thread if your interested :grinning:Glad your staying away from that Hookah BS.

And ayy real quick to everyone here on the E-Cig train DONT BE FOOLED. Yes it's more than likely better than regular cigarettes but still contains nicotine which is a carcinogen that causes Cancer. f--- that. Just Eat/vape Weed my friends.Stay away from the s--- that trys to control your life and set yourself free with some Sticky no seed trees. And this comes from someone who has vaped E Cigs. They're bad news. anything with nicotine is. Be smart my SXN80Fam. I want yall to live long prosperous lives. Not get cut short by s--- that's totally preventable.

This is wrong though. Like I said to old m8 google it. It's so minor that it may as well be grouped with co
its like if you have coffee everyday for years on end, the. One day you don't your probs going to be irritable and you'll probs get a headache. It's really minor s---, but it's still like a withdrawal symptom. That's all I'm saying, you can get withdrawal symptoms from weed. They aren't major and usually dot last longer than a day but they are still withdrawal symptoms.

I would get into how weed affects your dopamine levels and can lower them permanently, which could lead to someone chasing a high to feel "normal". But I like wee an cbf. Just saying you shouldn't say "weed is not addictive" especially when there's like heaps of different strains and they're made up of different CBD's and s---.

Don't get me wrong, I used to be a heavy smoker for years and yes weed can be addictive and hard af to quit. But it's still a psychological addiction. What i said above is that weed doesn't cause physical dependance. Huge difference.

For example, heroin and alcohol are two examples of substances that can cause a physical dependence. In some cases, for heavy users, trying to quit cold turkey can actually be dangerous because their body has now become physically dependant on the drug to function. The body has adapted in a certain way to the drug so in order to function properly it needs the drug.

The minor withdrawal symptoms as you say, like anxiety or agitation are psychological. For example, you're agitated because you just quit smoking weed, because you are so agitated you don't feel hungry and you get a headache. Those are results of psychological addiction. Your body doesn't physically depend on the drug to function properly nor will it affect it negatively if you quit.

That's what I'm sorta saying, it's only fairly recently become easy to test/study. Long term heavy use can lead to a dopamine deficiency from what I have read though. Like I say it's addictive, but it's about as addictive as coffee. And yeah I get you a physical addiction is different like crack/ice/herroin will actually cause excruciating physical pain from withdrawals. Which is why so many people on it find it so hard to quit.
