Jan 28, 2016 it's been a week since i dropped this. thought i'd start the listening thread for it. same as usual -- one song a day, so that people get the chance to check it out and drop their thoughts. i think this project works well front to back, or at least i tried to make it well sequenced, but at least this offers people the opportunity to listen to it if doing it all in one sitting takes up too much time. i'll be using the @SIMHAsxn tag, so if you want to be mentioned -- join the tag. first song later today. Jan 28, 2016 1. cup full of muddy This is one of the only tracks on this tape where I clearly jock future/thugs style in my opinion. Whats funny is, i think my inflection on the hook sounds like a weak weak version of future's on Drippn but i record this joint before PR dropped lol. So when I heard PR, i was just like..f---. As with most of this tape, this track is freestyled for the most part. Jan 28, 2016 this one kinda a miss for me..mixing seems rushed. if t weren't for the lyrics I would've had no idea what's going on for the whole track tbh I don't like when your voice is "strained" cause it takes away from your enunciation a bit. some areas sound pretty nice but I think the hook needs work (on the sonic side). the actual lyrics for the hook work thoug 100% but between how you delivered it/mixed it, that could've been handled better imo
