    not for me

    TPAB has always been an unlistenable POS for me

    while my appreciation for MBDTF has only grown over the years

    have to go with tpab tho

    Disagree. MBDTF will stand in time longer as it's a 5-6 yr old album and it still sounds fresh. TPAB is a year old and lacks nearly all replay value, for the entire album. If anything Kendrick "will stand in time longer" but I highly doubt people will recognize TPAB as the goat album 10 years from now.

    I just can't sit down and put on TPAB when GKMC is right beside it and I can just throw it on shuffle.
    Only songs I actually listen to on TPAB are Wesleys Theory, The Blacker the Berry, i, and King Kunta.
    As I was saying, I can't put TPAB on shuffle, but I can for MBDTF. Thats what the obvious sign is for me.

    To p---- A Butterfly is aging better for me, I discover new things musically everytime I listen to it.

    I'll probably listen to mbdtf more, it's easier to listen but I think tpab is always gonna be a better musical experience for me.

    eh we can agree to dissagree, i aint gonna pile all that jazz s--- on cause i aint a fucboi

    that album can only do good in my eyes, bring to light issues that need to be addressed :idk:

    the longer it stays around the better

    tbh I used to hate on it but TPAB quickly became my favorite album of the past 5/6 years. It took me few listens to fully absorb what he was trying to do though. But yeah, musically this album is a thing of beauty

    Musically theirs nothing like it. Had an excellent concept. Great lyrics/rapping. Successful with everyone, was a HUGE hit album and also hit hard with true music fans from casual listeners to hiphopheads.

    BOTH great albums tho. I think TPAB is def top 3 album of new decade.

    a lot of people that voted for TPAB has nothing to say about it, just vote and cowardly leave the thread. Probably because they know deep down MBDTF is better.
