Feb 6, 2016 I've been pretty vocal about not being a fan of rap since I joined SL. A few days ago I got bored and said f--- it and listened to some old rappers from the 90s and just LOL. I guess people hear are calling it "dust" but that dust s----s all over whatever the f--- gets released now in every way shape or form. This forum reminds me of Coachella how people follow any and every trend just because it's cool but when the hype dies down they look back on it in disgust. Sure maybe not for artist like fat overrated Kanye or "King Kenny" (lmfao) but people like Thug and s---. I don't see how 5 years from now you won't be shocked. People here live in regret for saying they were once fans of Eminem when they were 12 think about how f---ing sad it'll be saying "I used to listen to YT when I was a 22 year old who spent all day on a forum with my forum buds"
Feb 6, 2016 There hasn't been a single song I've heard from any rapper in so long that I've liked. Not just a guilty pleasure I'm talking actually liked but for me to be able to go into an older tape and find s--- I actually like says a lot. Obviously production wise it's s--- compared to whatever is released now but for someone who's not a casual listener of rap the older stuff has the edge over the more creative s--- like YT. Plus I guess I'm a lyrics kind of person so simple rhyming doesn't do anything for me unless it's done right.
Feb 6, 2016 i'm confused? Are you really bad at counter arguments so you just post my profile picture, or do you find it sexy and want to see it bigger
Feb 6, 2016 Stop baiting people with posts like this man, cmon ok enough about the dust-lords of hip-hop. your avy is 10/10 and there's only factual evidence beneath it. It's clear to me, your understanding of rap and music in general is of a much higher standard than most of the users here. Because of this, I vote you become the almighty supreme mod lord of the music section. You're over thinking this way too much. There's always been an abundance of both amazing and s--- music in hip hop. even those "golden era's" or whatever the f--- have their stand-out s--- artists/music. Same goes with every genre and every era. It's all just bs "facts" that people use to try make their opinion seem more intelligent. I mean seriously, if you google what it is that makes someone enjoy a song, it's all pattern recognition, meaning if you listen to a song enough times, you'll actually end up liking it anyway. So instead of saying like "dust s--- all over whatever the f--- is out now" how about you go and look for music you might enjoy, because I think that was your first mistake, thinking YT is the be all and end all epitome of rap in this day and age. Like go listen to freddie gibbs, there's a 100% chance if you like 90's rap you'll like him.
Feb 6, 2016 Kinda true but anything they have released I'd prefer them over most of the s--- coming out right now. I'll feel like s--- when Eminem dies. He has been my fav since I started to listenin' to him for real and after him my fav rapper will change every year maybe even month lol :D
Feb 6, 2016 why do u feel the need to mention eminem in a post and thread that has literally nothing to do with eminem

Feb 7, 2016 I can tell, You intelligent level doesn't seem high enough to have a civil debate instead of insults. You remind me a lot of Donald Trump
