Say what you will about Conor but nobody has balls like that guy. They make weight classes for a reason and nobody else has ever attempted what he did, but he needed to be humbled.

Diaz is barely a top 10 lightweight. McGregor didn't really move up from 155, he just didn't cut weight for the weigh in. I mean, if you want to follow some champions who likely won't lose this year, Demetrius Johnson is one. Jon Jones will be the other once he reclaims the belt that he lost from being suspended. Jones doesn't even have a real loss besides a DQ. The thing is, once you become champ in the UFC, you're only fighting the people most likely to beat you. That's not true in any other mainstream sport.

Connor's ambitious, he wants to do things nobody in the sport has done before and is willing to take the risks necessary to accomplish them. Outside of tonight, they've all paid off but this round he bit off more than he can chew. It happens. I do believe he'll come out better for it in the long run though.

Don't get it Twisted, the McGregor hypetrain just hit a roadblock tonight.That s--- ain't over yet.

Edit: If they do McGregor vs Aldo 2 at 200, after the 13 second knockout I imagine Conor's gonna be in his head faaaaaar worse than it was the last round.

They fight the best. UFC matchmaking is far superior to boxing. Good luck getting a champ from 1 of 4 orgs to fight one of the 4 #1 contenders lol. A lot more ways to lose as well. Even then, Jose Aldo was champ for almost a decade.

That Holm-Tate fight was crazy. Good for Meisha....finally heard her ROOOOOOOOOOAR!

d--- Conor.... he was a little over aggressive and active in it. He was doing great until Nate caught him with a 1 2 that kind of seemed to rock him. Then Nate did his peppering shots and high volume. Conor had no match for that. You know Conor's hurting when he tries to go for a take down. Crazy ending. My friend turned and punched me he was pumped Conor lost hahaha.

I am curious like others said of GSP being there. He could have just been spectating but I also was going to assume UFC 200 would be McGregor Vs GSP...it's not that far fetched, but will never happen now lol.

The comment about short notice and weight would have to be used in defeat. Helps fighters to hold some dignity and not question their own skills. This should make Conor better going forward. Great for Diaz to hit that big payday.

Yea before the Johnson fight everyone counted him out, myself included. He proved a lot in that one and in this one as well.

Ehh i would say the majority of the divisions are more 5-6 deep, before a significant drop off. Diaz loses to Khabib and RDA for sure, after that i dont love him against Alvarez(especially not in a 5 round fight) and now Pettis looks like s---. Maybe Tony Ferguson would beat him too, but theres not a lot of guys out there that are better then him.

feel bad for conor. Was not liking this fight for him at all since Dana announced it. 170 is to much power for him and he can't deliver the same power nate could. I hope he takes this L and comes back even stronger
