Of course, and that's the way it should be

This is irrelevant because morality has nothing to do with legality.

No one's talking about forcing people to do anything. I'm actually saying the opposite - that the decision-making process should involve both partners, not just one (you implied it should just involve the woman).

Forcing someone to go through with an unwanted pregnancy is f----- up. So is not telling or consulting the guy about an abortion. (not as f----- up as the first scenario, but it happens sooo much more often)

I'd quickly get the f--- out of any relationship if I ever found out the girl felt she had the right to make that decision without even talking to me about it.

So your only issue would be if a woman had an abortion without informing her partner first? I thought you were arguing that men should have a say in whether or not a woman can get an abortion. My b. I see what you mean though. My whole point was that ultimately it's the woman's decision. Regardless if the man wants her to keep the pregnancy, if the woman doesn't want too, she has the right to get an abortion. Though, I do think it's best if both parties are informed and give their own opinions.

I've been on both sides of this situation. My wife (girlfriend at the time) got an abortion. The second time she got pregnant we kept it because the circumstances were much different and we were a little more prepared the second time around.

No pre-c-m does not contain sperm. If you jerked off earlier in the day, pre-c-m could push left over sperm into her, but it's very unlikely.

If she got knocked up it was due to negligence. She neglected to use the pill or patch or whatever else b------s use, you neglected to wear a condom, you neglected to pull your d-ck out, and the next day she neglected to take the morning after pill. That's a lot of negligence and you know you're taking a chance. Time to man up

Not like you can abort STD's. Same s---. Live with it and make the best of it.

Just curious bro, do you have kids or in a relationship having unprotected sex?

I know you're against abortion, i'm just curious what your own current situation is like.

People are much more comfortable speaking on situations when they are the ones not going through it.

Yes I have a son that was unexpected. The one time back then I didn't pull out lol. I was 23 making close to minimum wage. He changed my life and it sure as h--- wasn't in a bad way. I couldn't imagine where I'd be if I would've taken the easy way out.

Edit: and now that I'm financially stable and married, we're trying to have another child but it's not happening.

I know this is very personal and you don't have to reply, but do you regret it at all?

No sir, not at all. I was actually about to respond to your last post, but i'll save it for this one. I'm confident in every choice i make (This wasn't always the case). I have a large base of family/friends that believe in me and what i'm trying to accomplish. When i make decisions, i put a lot of time into the process before making that decision. I'm always thinking about what could or couldn't happen. I like to believe i'm the type of person that can anticipate the outcome of things very well. Life has conditioned me this way because what i've experienced thus far. When it comes to a child and birth, most people believe it is not in your power to play god or dictate what child comes into this world or not. But when I think about that though... I was given the power to make my own choices. This what men are suppose to do, right? I can't dictate the repercussions or outcomes of my choices, but if i know the choices i'm making are heartfelt, genuine and selfless, I will always be prepared and accept for what comes afterwards.

I don't think we know enough scientifically to be able to make a call on this, in 100 years society could be saying "just 100 years ago they were murdering babies and thinking it's ok"

i'm not saying this is what's gonna happen but it certainly wouldn't be the first time in history we've gotten something wrong in a very f----- up way.

In one hundred years, we'll have created 100% effective birth control that everyone has access to.

Although, what's the difference between avoiding an eventual pregnancy by using birth control, Plan B pill, or aborting it immediately? Either way, that same pregnancy is being avoided. It's just a matter of when.

Yes. If someone doesn't have the means or brains to take care of a kid, or due to r--- especially, I'm fine with abortion. This world is too populated as it is. That's one less s--- head I have to sit behind in traffic or at the supermarket.

i'd never be in the position, but i don't know how okay i'd be with an abortion if i was. ultimately it'd be up to whoever the girl was tho

and that's how it should honestly always be

I don't support it; but in some situations it's ideal I guess

it's all up to the woman anyway.. BUT let's say I get my gf pregnant..and she decides to get an abortion.. I'd be highly pissed beyond belief
