It's an interesting point that women (mostly feminists) will be all "my body, my choice" about pregnancy and abortion...

Yet at the same time expect their abortions to be government/tax-payer funded.

Like, no b----, it's your body, OUR choice at that point. Either pay for your own s--- like a grown up, or stop whining about "duh it's not your business".

its forcing a burden upon the child because they are going to have a lower quality of life. Single parent households s--- because only one person is bringing in income.

its forcing a burden upon parents and family because they werent able to plan or prepare. if you dont have any money, having a kid will ruin your life. your whole entire life is now about struggling to support your child.

if you want to have a kid, plan one, and make sure both parents WANT the kid, and make sure your household has enough money to support children for 21+ years.

If i had a kid right now, it would ruin my life because I don't even have the money to support myself. My child will grow up with a s-----y life because I don't have the resources or matuity to properly take care of him/her.

The majority of criminals and convicts come from single parent homes. Without the proper guidance, without having parents available, without having resources, the kids aren't set up for a very bright future, and society will end up with the burden of having to take care of the child as he/she grows up.

Unwanted kids, orphans especially, usually end up becoming menaces to society. The foster care system is horrible and stories of r---, abuse, and mistreatment are very common. More often than not they will grow up to become drug addicts, criminals, etc.

Only exception is if the parent is wealthy and mentally stable.

Don't see how not wanting kid I'm not prepared to take care of for 21 years makes me a coward. Maybe the coward is the one who blindly obeys old religious beliefs and uses his emotion to decide how people should live their lives.
Sure, I can ruin my life and raise a kid, or the girl can have an abortion.
I can buy an album or I can download it
I can remove my mole, get a--- implants, and get my penis pumped

In 2016 we have CHOICES.

It's their f---ing money and their f---ing body. Who are you to say anything? Are you going to give them money to raise a kid?

Go ask any kid who was raised by a single parent whether - if they had the choice - they'd rather have been raised by a single parent or rather have never lived. I think most would say life with one parent is unfortunate, but still beats out never living. A lot of people who grew up in single parent households go on to achieve great things.

It's not a burden if 99% of people would pick it over the only other alternative.

Valid. But forcing a burden on yourself doesn't make you selfish. It actually makes you selfless.

I understand what you're trying to say: having kids just cause you want to without thinking about how/if you can provide for them properly is selfish. It's not what you said though so I called you out on that cause I felt like being pedantic.

As a pre-med student, yes, I think abortions are perfectly acceptable. Sometimes it is the best option.
