Where would Drake be considered overall in terms of hip-hop rankings? Like he has 3 very good albums(I Count IYRT) and one of them is arguably a classic. Like I know Drake will never be top 5 but d--- this guy doesn't have a bad catalogue at all and if Views turns out to be a classic and if he ends up clocking over a mill first week due to the new rules (Streams now count towards sales; He clocking in numbers)

Would he be considered a GOAT/ICON?




If people come ITT and say hes a popstar you getting that ban.

pretty sure drake cares less about being a top 5 rap artist and is more leaned towards just being a top artist overall

Yea I already think that Drake is one of the biggest rappers ever. But sorry he is totally a pop star. One of the biggest going right now. Doesn't really mean much though.

On the real tho, I feel like Views has a quite big possibility of failing because of the pure amount of hype he has built up.

He'll definitely be considered one of my top 5 favorite rap artists if he succeeds.

This dude has had an amazing head start top 20 yet no but I don't see him falling off any time soon I mean think about how long has rap been around a good 40 plus years or so..I mean come on who's ever been this big of an artist in this field before when u really think about it Eminem maybe or jay z? Ok but I highly doubt Drake is gonna fall off as hard as Eminem he's gonna be smart about it like he learned from Jay z and stay relevant u learn from who your inspired by and try to avoid the mistakes they've done this guy is making the right moves with this age tbh

I like him a lot, but top lists are reserved for the most impactful artists - in my opinion.
If it comes to Hip-Hop, I'd put him on Top20 for sure.

If Views is a classic, that's nice - Drake will be closer to be remembered as one of the greatests, but for now, he's just one of the greatest artists of this generation, objectively.

He might be a top 20 artist of this generation but he is absolutely nowhere near top 20 of all time and there's an incredibly slim chance he ever will be.

This ain't hate but there's been a lot more artists bigger and better than drake in the all time category.

I feel like the drake fans are putting drake in a box and don't want him to evolve. You should let him do his own thing, its like you already have your idea of what Views has to sound like...

there was the exact same hype for nwts and then people were shi--ing on it as soon as it dropped just because it wasn't what they expected.
