May 20, 2016 minimum wage in Canada is $10.45 and somehow employers stay in business "uhhh milk will be too expensive, huhhh minimum wage is supposed to be punishment, ummm everyone will get fired" you Americans listen to anything rich people tell you
May 20, 2016 nobody is rich or poor in my socialist homeland, all work earnings above living wage go to house and feed the shiftless drug addicts
May 20, 2016 pros and cons. If you have a family and are trying to support them, then the current min wage won't even come close to doing it. If you're a teenage kid, then your a--- does t deserve $15/hr. I got by on way less. ...and if raised, then that's gonna devalue other jobs out there. Am I gonna get a pay increase as well? Nope.
May 24, 2016 Everyone completely disregarded this post of mine on the first page addressing the whole "prices will go up if the minimum wage goes up!" argument. Yes, prices will go up but there's still benefit for the worker. It's not like prices are going to sky rocket several dollars.
May 25, 2016 $10.45 in Canadian currency is only $7.97 in US currency. That's like 70 cents over minimum wage. Just sayin'.
May 25, 2016 You guys are d----s saying you want to be compensated Pretty sure you'd still rather do your job than work at McDonald's 40 hours a week
May 25, 2016 I didn't work my a--- off the last few years to get to where I'm at just to be back near minimum wage. Makes the work I've put in basically worthless.
May 25, 2016 But where's the benefit to the worker that loses employment as a result of the wage increase?
May 25, 2016 there should be no minimal wage at all., but free market is an utopia just like communism
