    Anyway, rappers who pride themselves on lyrics have a right to feel this way. It's kind of a longstanding principle to write your own s--- dating back to when Rapper's Delight was supposedly lifted from Grandmaster Caz's notebook. That has no bearing on whether Drake is a good writer or not. It's about integrity.

    People think being lyrical and technical are the same. That's where the confusion comes in. Drake can be very lyrical at times.

    Drake can obviously write. He's written a few songs for other artists. Royce's point is can he be considered a lyricist if he got help. It all depends on how much 'help' Quentin gave Drake.

    Drake a amazing lyricist? Nah. Is he a good entertainer yes very much so. I enjoy a lot of Drake but I can never really say he can spit.
    In the end though, who really cares? Just take it as it is.
