Royce Da 5’9” hasn’t been holding back on his return, dropping track after track during the run to the release of Layers next month. We’re happy to premiere his next track “Savages,” which is set to release on his upcoming EP-before-the-LP Tabernacle: Trust The Shooter.
The Detroit emcee is at his lyrical best on this track, spitting rapid fire raps. The song is a traditional bravado-laden trash-talking joint, something Royce has gotten quite good at over the years. The speed at which he spits here will have you skipping back to make sure you don’t miss any of his many clever double entendres and punchlines. He does it all over AntMan Wonder's instrumentation.
