    I've found that like 90% of people are liars, there ears are fake/not real/painted on. there's no other explanation. When I hear Gates, I hear emotion and soul being poured into his songs, with lots of substance. His lyrics can go a little off course at times, but majority of his songs all have an underlying theme which is great subject matter...

    either their ears are fake as f---, or there is another budget soundcloud rapper called Kevin Gates.

    And if that's the case, why participate in this discussion?

    People voting for gates know drakes discog well. Most likely have heard all of his projects.

    The reverse can't be said for people voting for drake and that's part of the problem with threads like this

    How do you know that? You said the same in the Thug vs Drake thread too. Of course there's gonna be a handful that haven't properly listened to Gates but I'm sure a majority have. He's only losing by 7 to arguably the most popular rapper in the world.
