after much deliberation...ive decided im up is 100% better than ss3. im up is a restrained personal effort showcasing thug's vocals at the end of 2015/start of 2016. vocals that are more controlled and focused than ever before (just see for my people or family). ss3 is a majority of old (but great) throwaways mixed with a few standout moments with almost nothing new to offer (especially after the new ground im up covers).

the project with f---ing F Cancer, For My People, King TROUP, Hercules and Family is most definitely better.

love f cancer, king troup, hercules. family is good af too but the features sort of brought it down a bit for me

that's maybe one of my issues with I'm up actually..too feature heavy imo and it's not like they're bringing much to the table. I miss the ss1 vibe where he just carried pretty much carried everything himself

i'm up has some nice high but it has lower lows imo ss3 barely has any lows imo

SS3 has zero bad/medicore songs

Im up has one but highs are higher

Pretty hard to say wich one is better but i love SS3 more

Took my first dabble into the full realm of Slime Season 3 yesterday after a couple days ago you tagging me relating to some Young Thug drama, I don't quite remember what had happened but I went ahead and listened to I'm Up right along side Slime Season 3 for the first time and here's my overall judgement on both projects.

First I would like to say that I am by no means the biggest Young Thug stan in the entire world, as a matter of fact I just casually started listening to his music a couple months back so my opinion is simply that my opinion please no offence to anyone.


Starting With "I'm Up".
F Cancer (Boosie) [f. Quavo] - 4/10
(I know I am going to get some hate for giving this track such a low rating but I personally REALLY did not think that Boosie belonged on a track next to Young Thug.)
My Boys (f. Trouble, Ralo, Lil Durk) - 7.5/10
For My People (f. Duke) - 7/10
King TROUP - 9/10
Ridin (f. Lil Durk) - 9/10
Hercules - 6.2/10
Special (f. Offset and Solo Lucci) - 5/10
Bread Winners (f. Young Butta) - 6/10
Family (f. Dora and Dolly) - 9.2/10
Over all project rating 8.3 / 10

Now moving into Slime Season 3.
With Them - 4.8/10
Memo - 9/10
Drippin - 9.4/10
Slime s--- - 8.2/10
Digits - 8.4/10
Worth It - 6.3/10
Tattoos - 5.9/10
Problem - 7.2/10
Overall Project Rating 7.6 / 10.

Bare in mind I only listened to Slime Season 3 once where I have played I'm Up well over a hundred times, so maybe the project needs to grow on me but I feel as a whole my vote goes strong at I'm Up being a better project all around.

Am i the only one who loves Special? One of my favorites from I'm Up
The hook is straight fire And the piano on it
Thugs verse is great, Solo Lucci's verse is pretty good and Offset goes off
