    i can imagine. all the same awe was there when i first fully discovered eminem by like the mid-2000s

    i remember being so awestruck by his random freestyles, songs like Im Shady, k--- You, etc

    its sad that a lot of that music didnt stand the test of time, but he was an amazing rapper in his prime without a doubt.

    there is no point arguing jay vs em , i always tho that , both top 5 material imo and its all down to preferences , both are complete rappers , maybe more complete than everyone else ever in the mainstream , you cant really compare them to underground rappers or not so known as them cuz they have a different approach to who their music will appeal(everyone if possible) and they cant go all aesop rock or fkin el p on tracks and no one will have any idea what the fk they rap about
