this imo, i just listened to it a few days ago again and it still sounds like brand new production. this album was the perfect blend of gangsta rap and the patented aftermath big budget sound.

50 did the most with every single beat on this joint.

How old are we talking here? If we make 10 years the cutoff point I would submit this for consideration

Also, another personal favorite would be DMX's It's Dark and h--- is Hot..

I'm not even including Ruff Ryders Anthem, Convo, Damien, Stop Being Greedy, ATF, Crime Story or Get At Me Dog lol.

    Album is so f---ing fire.

Madvillainy is still a timeless and refreshing rap album. I'd also say Chronic 2001, mostly because when it came out there was nothing in rap that sounded quite like it. That album truly was avant-garde rap/the future when it came out. Also, without a doubt, an album that definitely sounds way ahead of its time (then again it's not 100% rap so that might be why) N*E*R*D - In Search Of...again it's not really all rap. Alternative/rap/punk, so that could be way it still sounds fresh. A lot of variety within that album.
