May 17, 2016 10. Free Gucci I jokingly called this a love song before. I wasn't really joking. I remember CharlieWork tried to write this off as average when it dropped. He was wrong. It's probably a top 5 MetroThuggin track to date. And even if it isn't, f--- you this is my list of favorite tracks. Everything is gucci, everytang is guuuuci though. I just had to get that out of the way. If you don't wanna get left, get it right. Chief Keef and Lil Durk, lean and shrooms, Harry Potter's broom (the Nimbus or Firebolt??) and drop top vipers w twin turbos that go zoom zoom. It's a song about nothing but feels like everything thats right about Thug. It don't matter what you b---, a real n-----'s always got stainless -- and every time Thug's had a strap he's used it. There's always been plenty fightin' like hadoken. Although, if given a choice, he'd prefer to keep his diamonds and his girl's (and her buddy's) coochie equally moist. Thug floods his roley and can't seem to get rid of the two stuffed cups in his hand no matter how much he flails. An ethereal, operatic, wail soars throughout one of Metro's best beats to date.
