    5. kodak black (honestly just off the strength of his news or somthn freestyle)

    Feel like Denzel or maybe Bones could be up there but I haven't listened to any Boosie or Kodak this year so I'll reserve judgement.

    Meme just means a trend in society. Ppl calling yachty uzi etc memes derogatorily just show they're the ones too entrenched in Internet culture.

    2. Kevin Gates: dropping a project widely loved by both critics and fans and having huge commercial success with it. MFH2 on the way
    3. Kanye West: TLOP, another album on the way
    4. Future: PR goat, making moves with Apple Music, co-headlining the tour of the summer, much more music to come
    5. Young Thug: radio tours, working with Lyor Cohen to grow his star power, dropping some great music along the way

    i was talking just the music itself to be honest but word i can get behind this

    rae sremmurd been lackluster
    uzi and yachty dropped good projects. so did a lot of people.

    because im just not looking at projects. like, if i was, young thug might be demoted to an HM like future...but m counting features/verses/just any and all instances of rapping (including projects)

    which is why thug is 1 (NO ONE is rapping like him on family, mixtape, respect, for my people etc) and kodak is one the list despite not having much material this year

    really tho..listen to that news or somthn freestyle again. its all about him going from wanting an abortion to embracing his kid. and hes 18 himself. come on.

    when he says "how they want a n----- like me to go to college" or w/e :wow2:

    Young thug has had a terrible year, im up and ss3 are sub par projects

    1. Kanye - every track he's been involved with has been great

    2. French montana - dropped the best project this year easily

    3. Denzel - imperial is his best work yet and like kanye everything he touches becomes a great song

    4. Kevin Gates - Islah is amazing and the snippets for murder for hire are incredible

    5. Future - though people ssy he fell off and s---, purple reign is amazing and evol is a solid project that gets un mecessary hate by virgins. He renegaded chance and drakes last two projects and is killing features
