For just the 14th time in NBA history, the Finals will feature a rematch. The winners of the 1st series are 6-7.

Will Stephen Curry and the NBA's golden boys complete their record-setting regular season with a second consecutive championship, or will LeBron James and Cavaliers red-hot big three exact their revenge after falling short last year?

Cavs averaged 104.3 ppg and their opponents 104.1 against them, still they had a very good record, crazy.
I'm taking the Cavs in 6 or 7 this year.
They managed to go 4-2 against the Warriors last year, even lead 2-1 and now they have 2 of their superstars back, J.R Smith found his shooting and the whole team clicks at the right time. Very excited for these finals since anything can happen.

Nah you're reading that stat wrong bro. Cavs scored 104.3 ppg, they allowed only 98.3.

I think the Cavs will win but every time I think the Warriors are done they make me and everyone else look stupid. Cleveland hasn't really played anybody in the playoffs yet. They're well rested, but the Warriors have been through the ringer. Not much the Cavs can show them that they didn't deal with in the OKC series.

I want to see LeBron average 35/15/10 or something crazy. I want this series to cement his place on Mount Rushmore.

Yeah, it said opponents so I mistakenly looked to the right. They had a pretty easy road to the finals but then again, they switched to a whole 'nother level. The Cavs can show the efficency and the clutchness which the OKC lacked. Durant played like a shell of himself, averaged very bad percentages. LeBron is more efficent, Kyrie doesn't go crazy like Westbrook, and I mean it in a good way. If Love plays like everyone expects him to, and the role players don't f--- it up and leave it to LeBron and the rest to carry them, everything's gonna be alright.

Honestly not that excited for this. I'm picking GS to win but I definitely won't be watching every game.

Warriors in 5, everyone's all excited Love and Kyrie are there this year and that's great, but as an anti Cavs guy I'm excited too. What people aren't thinking about is the Cavs defense is shittier with those 2 out there compared to Della and Tristan Thompson. Bron's numbers will be worse this year compared to last year because he won't have to do as much offensively with Love, Kyrie, JR getting buckets and even guys off the bench like Frye and Jefferson having some hot stretches.

I think the Warriors are still pissed at the Cavs honestly for everyone saying they would have won the finals last year with Kyrie and Love, their 2 games against them in the season showed that. If Warriors stay focused and play their best ball, they can win this series in 5 so that's my prediction. They'll have 1 or 2 off games but they'll manage to pull 1 of these out due to Klay or Curry heroics.

Cleveland's playing their best ball and getting along great as a team, they're also 100% healthy so they really have zero excuses. They're a great team and can certainly score a lot, they can out score most teams but I don't think the Warriors are one of those teams. Can't see the Cavs having enough defensively to consistently slow down the Warriors, they don't have the length OKC has.

Cleveland definitely has it in them to push Golden State.

It's gotta be frustrating to be an OKC fan. They have a top 5 roster in the league yet are so inconsistent. When they run their actual sets, their offense flows great. Problem is Durant & Westbrook fall too much into iso ball. It works during the regular season but in a 7 game series when the game slows down, you need to execute and close quarters, not expect your guys to bail you out in 1v1 situations 5-6 possessions in a row.

Cleveland offers more consistency than OKC did, mainly because of LeBron. Kyrie & K Love's need to play well in GS for them to win this series.

100% about them being worse on defense with Kyrie & Love back. Not enough people brought that up last year.

I expect Klay to check Kyrie and Steph will slide over to JR. On Cleveland's side, Kyrie's gotta stay on Curry unless Shump or Delly is out there.

Gotta think Draymond Green and Iggy cover Lebron most of the time, I agree that Klay will check Kyrie and Curry will cover JR. From a Cavs point of view I think it'd be smart of them to have JR run around a lot on offense and get open off screens, that way JR gets good looks at 3s which he'll often drain plus Curry may get a bit tired from the defensive work he has to do getting past screens and running around following JR.
