Jun 13, 2016 "but i run into them running through the kitchen pretending to be blind superman, cuz i had no supervision" this line goes well beyond OP's education
Jun 13, 2016 You're right. I stand corrected. Isn't he saying there won't be enough ketchup for the mustard? There's no metaphor there. He's not saying they're ketchup and he's mustard, he's saying they'll never ketchup to his mustard, which makes no sense, it's just food reference, no metaphor. I can accept the Just Lose It metaphor, but I don't accept the mustard. Actually those are some of my favorite lines.
Jun 13, 2016 Well it's very random, but imagine a dish that uses both ketchup and mustard, he's basically saying that there's more mustard (his energy) than ketchup (the guys trying to catch up). Its not really anything special, he uses the two because of the clever wordplay, but it is poor as an actual metaphor because of the lack of context. Still a metaphor, just a bad one and sorry for insulting you
Jun 18, 2016 Using this example could also create the argument that you have been out-done by the man in question though. "Corny" could refer to a corn dog, which you would put ketchup and mustard on. Thus making it a metaphor. This then makes the second point even worse as it's its taken lot longer than six minutes though to realise this.
Jun 19, 2016 What does that have to do with anything about metaphors. by the way though f--- trump and f--- Hillary. GARY JOHNSON FOR PREZ 2016
