Jul 9, 2016An album with some classic songs, some good songs, and some mediocre ones that's poorly sequenced. I think he had the makings of an 8/10 album here but it turned out to be a 6.5/10 album.

I like the variety of moods & feels that album has: with the grimey gutter rap s---, dancey s---, toned down dark s---, aggressive af gangster rap s---, somewhat sentimental s---. I love d--- near all of it, even if some tracks shouldn't have been on the album, some sorta f--- up the whole imagery, they're still good but woulda been better as loosies.
Individually, d--- near every track is well executed, even the ones that had no place on this album. The fillery ones even, are at least a LITTLE interesting & engaging, & decent. Only exceptions for me: Los Awesome & Grooveline Pt. 2, i really don't find any redeeming qualities in them, they're total dogshit.
the out of place tracks are what bring it down a smidge for me, but the highs are high af & even the less standout tracks are pretty decent. Very good, edging on great, 7.8/10.Groovy Tony, mwarmst, boyz n the suburbs and 1 other person like this. -
