Aug 15, 2016 So I was listening to the lost tapes today and thought that it's way better than it was written. No annoying guest features, way better production imo, song structure and just sonically better to me. Do you agree?
Aug 15, 2016 Nah, it's close though and I don't think it's ridiculous to say that Lost Tapes is third in his catalogue for me
Aug 15, 2016 It's arguable, but iww has most of Nas's best songs. The message, if I ruled the world, I gave you power, and affirmative action. The lost tapes is more consistent tho
Aug 15, 2016 Lost Tapes was more trim however most of the features on It Was Written weren't bad. The original Firm, Lauryn Hill, Mobb Deep- they had great moments. It's debatable.
Aug 15, 2016 Nah for me it's from best to worst: Illmatic The lost tapes IWW God's son Stillmatic Life is good Hip hop is dead Untitled I AM Streets disciple Nastradamus
Aug 15, 2016 I love Stillmatic so much, also for what it represented in his career where do you think Street's Disciple would land if it were trimmed to a single album rather than a bloated unnecessary double album? there were some great tracks on there
Aug 15, 2016 God's son is so f---ing underrated, if it didnt have zone out it would be his best album For me it stands: IWW > illmatic > lost tapes> gods son
Aug 15, 2016 actually just looking over the tracklist I had an exaggerated memory of SD..... pretty much Thief's Theme, Just a Moment and UBR..and filler
