    I'm a glorified baby sitter right now, only s--- I gotta do is mark most (not all) of the work handed in, help people when they need it (not as much as you'd think) and deal with a f--- ton of phone calls and emails.

    I been thinking about stopping for a bit I miss the classroom environment I spend most my day at my desk now limited interaction ;.;

    If I quit I'll never get a teaching job again tho lol so it's either I drive for Uber or keep """"teaching""""

    To clarify I work at a place where people do the courses and earn their credits through the actual booklet. So it's mostly independant work and on paper it's very direct. My first year and a half of teaching was at an actual high school. I miss it.

    9th grade before first day of school i got injured and missed alot of classes a teacher came to house to teach me :emoji_relaxed: but i would just be chilling and listening to music and sooner or later i just started getting programs and watching vids and walla

    big since u can intern in studios instead of your home studio and i talk to professionals every day my first semester piano teacher is one of the top piano players in the world :emoji_relaxed:

    Tbh I wouldn't mind my job rn if the rest of the staff wasn't old as f--- and used me as the computer guy handling dudes emails like I'm in some windows 98 commerical I came here to teach MFer not to type emails and drink fruit punch until 2:30 ahhhhhhhhhhh

    that's awesome dude. I really wish I could do that at some point. I kind of have found short cuts to making vocals sound good without actually knowing what I'm doing exactly during some points. Like not fully understanding EQ but just finding a great EQ set that is good for my friends vocals after a couple years of playing with it .
