it's all garbage you guys know that right?
like, you subconciously pair these things with nearby matter to help in remembering them.
some examples
-Bearenstain, you remember it as Bearenstean Bears because that's how it was pronounced. so instead of remembering 12 individual letters that spell out "Bearenstain" you're remembering how the word is spoken, and you remember it being pronounced as "bear-n-steen" so you spell it out the way you hear it.
so you add 1 + 1 and get 2.
-people sayin Pikachu's tail changed as well. Yeah, definitely not a 20 year old company, that never ever updates their IP without formally addressing the entire world.
They would of gone through hundreds upon thousands of artists in that 20 year time period. each would have made their own adjustments/tweaks/variations/artistic interpretation etc etc (which is evident because OG pikachu was fat and now he's annorexic)
They've rehashed/updated the design of Pikachu drastically atleast 3 times. over the past 20 years. they just don't make public announcements like "EVERYONE... WE HAVE JUST MADE SOME TWEAKS TO THE DESIGN OF PIKACHU WHICH WILL REMAIN PERMANENT TO GIVE HIM A MORE SLENDER LOOK"
so yeah sorry guys, just your brain at work. If you want some
chin-holding, head-scratching though;
On average, every singular cell in the human body has broken down and been replaced by a new cell. So do you think possibly this lack of cells has some impact in trying to remember things from over 10 years ago?Ordinary Joel, Deadpool and mow like this. -
