The statutory age of consent for heterosexual sex has gradually increased from 11 to 16 and this is also now the age at which consensual h---------- sex is legal. Under the Sexual Offences Act 2003 it is an offence to engage in any sexual activity with a child under the age of 16, and the prosecution need not prove lack of consent. It is a defence if the perpetrator reasonably believed that the child was 16 or over (but only if the child was in fact 13 or over).
Even if you're 14, you're still guilty, and committing any form of sexual act under the age of 16 in the united states can result in up to 5 years in prison, if not for you then for your legal guardian.
