Mar 8, 2017 Because Detroiters being Em fans (Usually White. Sorry. Just making a real-life observation here.) is like a d--- obligatory practice and former favorite pastime of most residents here. When Em outdid Jay on Renegade, that was probably when I was the biggest Em fan. You grow up and you adapt to different and more mature life experiences so you expect to listen to music which complements it like a soundtrack/score. Em's music in general has never depicted cinematically scenic routes. I'm not missing him at all. Recovery was coo. He should have retired then. And maybe left the last track off the album. Because Proof deserves a better tribute than that. But anyway, when you have producers as good as Black Milk and rappers as good as Elzhi still living in and representing in your city, it's hard to care about what Em contributes to Hip-Hop anymore. Because he was never good at running a label. Worst at that ever. Maybe if he'd have gotten rid of Paul Rosenberg around 2002, I'd still end up liking the guy. He's just a manufactured robo-lyricist.
Mar 8, 2017 Can't argue with you, you just depicting the reality of Detroit and your evolution as an Em fan. I hope for you (and me) his next album makes justice to his legendary status.
Mar 8, 2017 It's neither his worse nor his best. Can't expect anything of that caliber from the guy at this point in his career.
Mar 8, 2017 The verse was pretty good lol... people hating on it would've hated on it even if it was flawless. Em is obviously not in his prime anymore but he's still a h--- of a lot better than most of the s--- coming out today
Mar 8, 2017 bigliar sean at it again. cant really blame it for those answers tho. Its his album, he want people to buy it. Eminem brings $$$$, no reason to burn bridges. what I blame him for was the over prehyped of em verse tho, that was f---ing lowkey.
Mar 8, 2017 How is "extremely thoughtful" hyping something up? Did we really expect even a 3.5 out of 5-Star Quality results from someone who probably sincerely actually applied pressure, but still came up short? As he has been routinely for over a decade now? Stop it. Deja Vu, Going Through Changes, Almost Famous, etc. That's where the buck stops.
Mar 8, 2017 lol not at all. Em could have recorded himself taking a s--- and submitted it for a feature and Sean would have taken it, because at the end of the day he's going to sell more singles/albums. Why would you rip apart a song on your own album that's making you money from clueless stans??
Mar 8, 2017 Major props to this interviewer for having the balls to ask these questions. f--- Big Sean for not owning up and saying the verse is trash.
Mar 8, 2017 Of course it doesn't s--- I like it em's verse and i'm a true fan at heart the song my is my ring tone mean man some of ya'll on here idk acting like you seen em or met him h--- it's like you think you can control dictate his life as if he isn't human clearly as any sane person on this earth fa real this forum I ain't proud to be here like some that are on some belligerent nonsense s--- and to me out through mid 2000-01 on to 2002 Jay-Z, Dmx and Eminem were very big successful great artists which they still are on that Kris is gone
