    In light of Donald Trump's EPA chief denying the basic science of Climate Change, I wanted to see if there is at least one issue we could all come to agreement on. Is Climate Change real? If so, is human activity accelerating climate change?

    Yes. 97% of climate scientists say it's real and caused by human activity. That doesn't mean 97% think it's a crisis though. (I think that number is in the 70s)

    Trump gutting the epa and his plans to pull out of the Paris agreement.

    We can only try to limit the effects of climate change than reverse or stop it.

    I feel it. Regulations within the Paris Agreement were never going to get through a republican congress regardless if Clinton won. It sucks that the U.S. may now pull out though effectively ending any type of world wide agreement.

    The cuts to the EPA are totally devastating though. I understand in politics, one side always seems to paint the other side as bad or evil (fearmongering essentially) but Republicans consistently denying climate change and backing oil/gas companies over the well being of future generations -- that's evil af.

    It's funny cause the people who don't believe in climate change are generally the same ones against abortions, and are the same one's who shouldn't procreate

    It's a fact...wether it's real or not is not up for debate anymore.......I majored in biology and climate science and there's 2 things that f--- me off big time....people who don't 'believe' in climate change or people who dont 'believe' in evolution.
