id assume they have some kind of internal investigation to find out who plotted the riot and carried it out and they'd have their sentences added to accordingly. idrk though haven't researched it much but i'd assume thats how it works. can't imagine every inmate gets extended sentences. probably look for footage + evidence + snitches

Prisons are just purgatories that have come about kind of unintentionally where back in the days people had to await their executions somewhere so they had to wait in dungeons and after law and order and human rights became a thing prison as punishment was the logical step to go


I think you've got to be rich, oblivious or naive as f--- to think rehabilitation works so easy if at all. Maybe for some specific people with specific problems. For the most part though no amount of rehabilitation is gonna stop some low level dealer or thief from re-offending once they're back out on the street with no money and a criminal record. They don't need rehabilitation as they're probably aware of the consequences but don't have much practical assistance on the outside to make money. Repeating "selling drugs is bad" and "don't steal" is just pissing on a bushfire and it requires massive overhauls of current legal systems such as decriminalising drugs which is unlikely to happen anywhere anytime soon or in the foreseeable future.


Rehabilitation would probably assist prisoners psychiatric problems and psychiatric related crimes such as pedos and serial rapists/killers etc who you probably don't want on the street anyway

Practical and logical crimes like theft, d--- dealing/trafficking and assault/murders related to logical crimes, would be affected f--- all from some fairy a--- programs telling you that crime is bad. Like, you don't say? I was just dealing dope and setting up that massive cocaine shipment and holding up a convenience store and killing snitches and rivals because I wasn't aware it was illegal and bad thank u for showing me the light

yea prison riots are p f---ing terrifying to be real. saw a documentary about a US prison that had a riot on easter or some other holiday and took hostages and started killing them because of s--- like that.
ik you're joking but little s--- like cigs is just quality of life s--- that must just s--- to not be able to use. that s----s terrifying.

i mean realistically they are slaves in private prisons they get put to work for pretty much nothing
but yeah it should be more focused on rehabilitation but then there's no $$$ in rehabilitating prisoners the money is in creating reprobates that are constantly going back to jail so there's no reason to rehabilitate them
the way they're run is pretty f----- i thought you meant the concept of separating dangerous people from society
