Oct 4, 2025 Eminem’s Track by track review: 1. The Fate of Ophelia - Lyrically what you expect from Taylor, but the lack of production and repetition of the chorus makes the beat stand out as weak. Has a Disney fantasy vibe but I don’t think it should have been the opener. Maybe cuz the album aesthetic are giving 1920’s Show girl, the music don’t match the theme. 7/10 2. Elizabeth Taylor- much better and what I was expecting for the album. The pre-chorus is ethereal and the piano chords & Strings are perfect. Reminds me of Cardigan, but obviously more upbeat. “Hollywood Hates Me, Your only as Hot as your Last Hit Baby”. This is what I mean, I was expecting Old Hollywood music. Great song, I would have liked a Jazz or Ragtime breakdown to add some variety, but I like it. 8/10 Opalite- This is very Generic Pop music, but it’s classic Taylor swift. Feels like Red or Speak Now for Modern times. This will probably be the radio song and used in commercials. Very basic, but very pop structure. Lyrically and even beat wise, it does sound kinda A.I. just spewed out Taylor Swift. 7/10 Father Figure- very Cringe Mafia lyrics, but I love that Synth Chord. Just sounds good. The story of finding a protege with The Mob lyrics would have been better if it had some Italian instrumental like Guitars, Viola’s, or something that harkens to 1930’s Gangsters in New York. Once again, my problem with Taylor not using this aesthetic to the fullest potential. I like the song tho, but could have been stronger. 8/10 Eldest Daughter- lyrically it feels like Taylor is going backwards. I get it her main demographic is teens mostly and middle age white girls who feel victimized from getting broken up with. Lol This song would be fine on fearless when she was 17, but at 32….. it’s kind giving millennial who can’t grow up. I wouldn’t be so hard on this if the music itself also wasn’t boring. I like how this goes after father figure on the tracklist, but agin the music is so boring. It wants to be folklore like so bad, but it’s no where near as good as that album songs. 5/10 Ruin the Friendship- again the songs are starting to blend together and that’s never a good sign. Also it sounds like a song she made before. And again singing about highschool again, for 12 albums. I can see why even hardcore swifties are saying she needs to get new content. The 50Cent shoutout made me laugh out loud tho. Better then eldest daughter but sounds like fearless written from the perspective of a 36 year old. Just fatigued at the Highschool songs. 6/10 Actually Romantic- so her diss song at Charlie XCX. It’s giving I forgot you existed from lover vibes. You know this Women that are passive aggressive and act like they are nice girls and are above being too petty? Yeah that’s this song embodied. It sounds like Lover era Taylor. But again she is old, just call Charlie a b----. The song itself feels like it was produced in 3 minutes. 6/10 Wishlist- It’s feels like the softer songs on Reputation, but feels like a song for people who live in the suburbs. Lmfao. I don’t know how else to explain it. It’s background music 6/10 Wood- The fact this is the best instrumental on the album. That’s Jackson 5 time s---. This is a Bop, and wish she didn’t ruin it with the sexual innuendos. But song structure and production is Good. 8/10 Cancelled!- I’m so mad she didn’t get a rapper on this, and have a better beat. This is the most reputation Type of song on the album. The chorus would hit so much harder with a hip-hop trap or hyperpop beat. “Did you Girlboss too close to the sun” is the most cringe thing I ever heard. 8/10 Honey- this is the best pop song on the album. Just a plain basic pop tune. It’s definitely sampled, cuz I heard this melody before. This just a classic taylor swift song. It’s basic but good. 9/10 The Life of a Show Girl Ft. Sabrina- another sampled song. I’m starting to see why people say this album sounds A.I. when you actually listen a lot of these are songs you can cross referenced to other songs like Jonas brothers cool. Sabrina did good. I’m not really a Sabrina fan but she did her thing. Song has a lot of country influences but sounds good. 7/10 Now your probably like “Slim, I thought you said the album Mid?” Well b---- I did. You just weren’t paying attention. I said it’s missing imagination. The aesthetics don’t match the production. It’s Basic for Taylor Swift, cuz she could give better performances. It feels rushed and lacks direction. The songs range from ok to good, but where are the All Too Well’s, Out of The Woods, Augusts, Getaway Cars?! There is no real stand out

Oct 4, 2025 You know it’s bad when DiggleDogg thinks it’s mediocre. He’s probably the biggest Taylor Swift fan here. I honestly haven’t listened yet because my hype was already almost nonexistent and now it’s to the point where I’m not looking forward to listening to this at all. Taylor can’t let her last good album be Midnights. I don’t know what Travis Kelce did to this woman but ever since she started dating him her albums have been mid.
