Jan 24, 2018 Been wanting to rewatch this show for a minute. Can't believe it's been almost five years since the finale.I remember all my roommates and I put all our phones on airplane mode and shut our computers at 6PM waiting for it to air at 9PM our time so we wouldn't accidentally spoil it for ourselves on social media lol. Also was in ABQ recently and I swear the show makes it look NICER than it actually is irl. Seeing all the billboards for Saul Goodman-style lawyers was hilarious. There was one guy who had a 3D fist coming out f his billboard but I couldn't find a pic of it online. My friend who was born there said there was some lawyer called "The Devill" sho sported a goatee and his number was 666-6666 lol.I think this first guy is who Saul is actually based on: They pitched the "pilot" as the first four eps to HBO because they knew it was a slow build. Personally I loved it from the very first scene of the very first episode, but I can understand why it would take someone a few eps to get into. There are action scenes, but don't go in expecting big battles every episode like GOT. It's really dialogue-driven so you gotta be paying attention. Honestly took me two viewings to really pick up the intricacies of the plot. I need to do another watch through of this s--- too lol. without a
