Mar 18, 2024 As much as I share my distaste for the rest of D12 as I'm assuming you do, I think you should've kept Proof's verse on Revelation. It was the best verse of his career IMO.
Mar 18, 2024 It's a decent verse. I might add it back in just because I love the way Eminem says "f--- you" at the end. (Btw f--- you fa----, gtfo my thread.)
Mar 18, 2024 also reminded me of how good em used to sound over guitars. 2001-02 era of bass bros guitars was amazing.
Mar 18, 2024 This guy "Dope Edit" has been releasing Eminem instrumentals from all eras, some with extended bits. Pretty cool, worth checking them out on yt:
Mar 18, 2024 I forgot to mention Hailie's Song is another one that sounds very close to DN. Compare his vocals at the end of p---- Like Me and the beginning of Hailie's Song. The verse too.
Mar 18, 2024 always been curious bout the TES recording sessions specifically too its the last album to have any trace of the og shady voice before that drugged out delivery settled in
Mar 18, 2024 I absolutely stand by the theory that Til I Collapse and White America in particular were recorded later in the album stage. Even the White America intro, You can definitely hear his voice is a little deeper on these songs, like really slightly slurry/hoarse voice creeping in. Its the same voice on Lose Yourself, and even more distinct on the "Rap Name" verse and "Rabbit Run' On the opposite side, I agree SFTM was definitely one of the first recorded, and that it almost contains the MMLP voice. Id say Say Goodbye To Hollywood was quite early too, due to the content. The "pistol whipping incident" was 2 whole years before TES eventually dropped. Cleaning Out My Closet, another early one and probably Solider. Eminem claims he was still writing Square Dance on the set of filming 8 mile, which puts it Sept 01 at the very earliest. Id say this was a later one too. As I stated, all the Dre-produced songs on the album were recorded within a 2 week period when Dre brought his team to work in Eminems Detroit studio. Mike Elizondo said:
Mar 18, 2024 His voice is a little deeper in those songs because he started to lose his baby voice probably toward the end of 2001, but that's due to being in his late 20s not drug abuse which is a completely separate issue and didn't noticeably impact his sound and delivery until much later (2003ish). You're only hearing the slurry voice because you're looking for it, ie it only exists in your head. The outro rant in White America especially is just as fiery and lucid and as his Fight Music verse. There's also this 2002 freestyle where he sounds like his old MMLP self: At the end Proof shouts out "my dad's gone crazy" so it's safe to say it was probably already finished (or being finished).
Mar 18, 2024 It was a distinction, not a criticism you f---ing dumbass. "losing his baby voice" what kinda weird gay a--- term is that. You definitely have an awkward feminine high pitched irl voice. The funk flex is freestyle is from 01. Listen to the no apologies/say what u say freestyle for an accurate representation of his 02 voice. My dads gone crazy is obviously Dre produced. and the Dre sessions were obviously 2001, before filming for 8 Mile started. Not sure what point youre trying to make there. The drug thing in relation to voice (that early on) is debatable I agree, but the whole topic of the decline of his voice is kinda weird tbh. Ive never seen a man go through such a major voice change starting at the end of his 20s. Yes some peoples voice get naturally deeper over time, but his was rapidly snowballing from 01 onwards, almost every 6 months
Mar 18, 2024 And one that doesn't exist in the songs you mentioned. It's like saying people generally start losing the "baby" fat in their faces after their early 20s. Their voices start to mature around the same time. Only Eminem looked and sounded like a teenager up until like 29 so the term seems apt enough (bit of an exaggeration but you know what I mean). That your earlier claim was bs:
Mar 18, 2024 honestly youre tactic at trying to piece together bits of my post to fit your own narrative is pathetic. Why are you inserting your own phrases into my quoted posts you little weirdo? The og post was "devils night was recorded way before all this" in relation to a list of 4 songs that i mentioned directly before this sentence. "all of this" meaning all the songs i mentioned. Which is most likely true. He may have "looked like a teenager" with a "baby voice" in his late twenties in your warped gay little mind with those stan covered glasses, but to the rest of us he looked and sounded like a guy about to hit 30, aside from the obvious exaggerated sslp voice. The way you become more subtly mentally unstable with each day i bully you is becoming quite hilarious LOL
Mar 18, 2024 Which was a lot more than 4. You don't even remember what you wrote less than 24 hours ago lmao: So essentially the whole album. You're clearly suffering cognitively from all the abuse Ripper Roo and I have heaped on you for the past month. I suggest taking a break before any permanent damage is done. This is getting hard even for me to watch.
Mar 18, 2024 @Zebedee in this thread proving himself to be the biggest f---ing nerd here while trying to act hard is the dumbest s--- I’ve seen here in a while. You can cosplay as a fighter all you want, being a b---- a--- nerd loser virgin is in your DNA. Your daddy is a b---- and your mommy is b----. You were born from c-m that accidentally slid down your mom’s crack into her p----. No amount of weight lifting or boxing will change that. The b---- was so addicted to his gay a--- forum fighter cosplay and scared of @Justin Trudeau he had to fake his location and act like he was in Canada. MFer you are too broke to travel anywhere. No one gives a f--- about your Eminem knowledge and now I know for certain you don’t have a girlfriend either.
Mar 18, 2024 Not Ripper Roo logging into his alt to give himself a like because i called out the fact he only ever gets support likes from Big Monkey when mentioning my name
Mar 18, 2024 you just always have to make everything gay dont you? Stop turning the @Temerity chin emoji into a penis shape you weird fa----
Mar 18, 2024 Em in 2001 seemed to do a lot of layered vocals, and the doubles were loud and obvious 2002 seemed to have less layers or a lower mixed double so I’d assume these tracks are from 2002: Business When The Music Stops Til I Collapse Superman
