    Honestly most people who try to do screwed nowadays just can't get it right. Something is wrong when you don't have the analog distortion and noise. Most people also lack the creativity Screw had, and think they can make good screw just by slowing down and doing half beat skips every other bar.

    A couple of people who did it well other than Dj Screw are Micheal 5000 Watts (a legend) and Slim K is pretty good too

    Color Changin Click put out a lot of their material screwed by Micheal Watts as a standard, this one has one of the best verses I've ever heard from anyone.

    I just got in to chopped in December, so I'm new to this. But I basically just try to look for songs I'm in to at the time and would sound dope chopped. This is one of my favourites, but idk if it's good by chopped standards or not cause I don't really have the history to know the difference.

    C&S nowadays is mainly just people slowing it down, chopping it a little
    Not alot of skill is put into it, but it sounds nice

    i'm gonna try to not be an elitist c----, but doing screw right is more than just picking a trippy track, slowing it down and skipping some beats. good screw is when you create something new out of the track, and not just a slowed version. picking unorthodox choices that might not sound that trippy to begin with usually gives you better results as well.

    a lot of screws original work was bouncy west coast party beats that were completely transformed after he did his magic
