    watched 3 devilman movies the other day the second is the best one and the third is good but the ending seems rushed

    Semi-related, but Naruto manga ended :wiggins:

    I grew up reading it so s--- was sad for me.

    Naruto the Last Movie comes out next week in Japan, it's first film to be an official part of the canon Naruto storyline, set during the timeskip that occurs between the two last chapters of the manga.

    Yeah, saw that. And spin off with the kids due in spring 2015 too, but I expect that to s--- worse than DBGT lol.

    I never would've guessed Naruto would end. I really thought it was just going to keep going and going lol. The Ninja War arc is one of the most interesting things that happened to Naruto too.

    You read the new ones? like the burrito(?) uzamaki s--- with naruto's kid? read the first one. don't think i'll continue reading it...

    also that s--- with sakura and sasuke ending up together tho...:weebey: caught me off guard. honestly thought naruto would be all up in sakura's s---.

    yeah one of my main problems for it, is pretty much i read through 700 manga chapters to watch naruto grow from a s--- head kid into goku-demon fox-hokage. I don't think i can read another 700 about naruto's s--- head kid doing the exact same lol

    Yu Yu Hakusho, Gundam, and Ruroini Kenshin were dope when I caught them on Toonami.
    I've seen Afro Samurai and Neon Genesis Evangelion within the last year.

    What's the most essential anime for a beginner?

    I have a weird anime taste. but i'd say watch things like DBZ/full metal alchemist/first 100 episodes of bleach

    I grew up on DBZ as well. I used to get the magazines and ish. It has not aged well. Maybe the abridged version is better, cutting out all of that filler.
    Anything less serious/actiony? That's all I've really been exposed to. Lupin, maybe? I've never seen it but I remember it being kind of weird.

    less serious/actiony? watch Death Note bro. it's not as long as most anime's are and the story/character development in it are so well done. It's still got action, but it's not 2 demi-gods flying around f---ing the planet up kind of action. it's more suspense/thriller i guess.

    Death Note was so dope, I could say that Code Geass is def worth watching as well, if you like the first you'll like the other imo.

    Haven't watched much anime series, grew up on DBZ as well, and remember watching some episodes from Ruroni Kensin as well. Full Metal Alchemist is great. I also liked Elfen Lied, about 10 episodes? It was short, that's for sure.

    One Piece still my favourite, still watching it every week or so. It's weird because I always thought that this and Naruto would never end lol

    they need a new full metal alchemist series! brotherhood was awesome. I also got the whole yu yu hakusho boxset! lol i love certain anime. but i could never get into bleach or naruto for some reason:-/
