    I never got around to mentioning it in the Anime thread on SL, but I decided to check out Hunter X Hunter after a lot of people were saying good things about it. I wasn't sure about it at first, but I ended up liking it a lot, especially the Chimera Ant arc.

    I'll give it another go if they ever put out the English dub. Just couldn't get into it for some reason.

    I know everyone says sub is better..but I don't see how. I watched the last DBZ movie subbed and didn't tell much of a difference .

    Death note is one of my favourite shows of all time,
    Used to watch anime a lot, but havent had time recently, an anime can be a pretty big investment....

    It's personal preference. I used to watch Dub, eventually transitioned to Sub. Dub is convenient because you can actually pay attention to the details, as opposed to reading text at the bottom of the screen and not really being able to devote your full attention elsewhere. There are some truly amazing Dubs out there though, Steins;Gate being one of them.

    In regards to my top 10, Death Note and Steins;Gate are probably my #1 and #2. Other animes that come to mind that I really enjoy are Naruto, Mahouka, Darker Than Black, Durarara, Gurren Lagann, Soul Eater, and Full Metal Alchemist.

    Not watched anime in years the last couple of things i use to watch is Dragon ball z and Gundam wing can anyone give me a few ideas so i can start watching again?

    To get back into anime I would start with Attack on Titian, Death Note & Code Geas. They are all great plus they are pretty short. Then when you have some time on your hands I'd try to fit in Full Metal Alchemist & Bleach.

    anime with dubs are weird cuz the actors usually s--- but there are exceptions like Baccano
