Nov 8, 2015 Is Adele considered somewhat country? She just came on one of the country music video stations, don't think I've ever seen here on there before.
Nov 8, 2015 Yeah don't think I consider her country but then again, half the s--- they play isn't country either, like that sam hunt dude
Nov 14, 2015 Thoughts on the new Chris Young? I like it so far from what I've heard, still listening to the new Biebs, Tim McGraw, Chris Janson and Eric Church though so I haven't been able to really focus on it.
Dec 3, 2015 This place is dead. Anyways couple songs I like from the fairly recent releases. Toby Keith Honestly haven't given this a full listen yet still, really like ^that song reminds me of old TK. Brett Eldredge Really like this album. Other songs I like are: Fire, You Can't Stop Me, Lose My Mind, Wanna Be That Song, Time Well Spent, If You Were My Girl, Just A Taste & Drunk on Your Love. Chris Janson Loved Buy Me A Boat, but didn't know what to expect from this one but this album is great. Other then the big single other songs to check out are; Power of Positive Drinkin', Under the Sun, Holdin Her, Right in the Middle, Save A Little Sugar, Back In My Drinkin Days & White Trash. Eric Church I'm sure all of us have heard this by now. This is a very solid album, maybe no legitimate standouts but only song I don't really mess with is Chattanooga Lucy. Tim McGraw Love this album, could have posted any song on the album. I would name the songs I like, but there isn't a song I really dislike. Chris Young Haven't listened to this as much as I should have but it's pretty solid. Songs I like are; Heartbeat, I'm Coming Over, Think of You, You Do the Talkin', I Now A Guy, Underdogs, Sober Saturday Night, Callin My Name & What If I Stay. @CountryMusic
Dec 3, 2015 Chase Rice is one of my favorites, there's a good bit of bias with that for me though since he played football at my favorite college, UNC. I've been on the search for his album Friday Nights & Sunday Mornings for a while, not available on iTunes or any site to even buy. It was apparently released in 2010.
Dec 4, 2015 Ignite the Night was probably one of my most played albums of 2014... Party Up w/ Colt Ford>>> I'm a Survivor fan(the show) and remember him from there back in 2010 when he was the runner up in the Nicaragua season, think he actually played a song at the Finale. Didn't really get into his music until right before the last album came out though. Anyways just heard this song he's features on, not really Country at all but It's heat.
Dec 17, 2015 Just copped some tickets to go see Willie Nelson and Merle Haggard in concert. Gonna give them to my dad as a Christmas present
Dec 21, 2015 What's up guys? I want to give country music a chance (right now I'm kind of indifferent to it, but obviously not up-to-date/know whats good/etc.) What are 5 albums that you'd recommend? I need like... 1 classic (Garth brooks, alan jackson level s---), 2 like...late 2000's-ish?...greats, and 2 GOAT albums from 2015. Help me Country. Edit: Toby Keith is probably my favorite country artist, if that helps
Dec 21, 2015 Classic: Tim McGraw - A Place in the Sun (1999) 2 (screw it, I'm choosing 3) Late 2000'sish greats: Eric Church - Sinners Like Me (2007), Zac Brown Band - You Get What You Give (2010), Sturgill Simpson - High Top Mountain (2013) 2 GOAT albums from 2015: Chris Stapleton - Traveler, Alan Jackson - Angels and Alcohol
Dec 22, 2015 I struggled limiting myself to just those categories; I came up with a little longer list instead. I originally had Sinners Like Me and Traveler on it as well but @JohnnyDrama already mentioned those. I tried to mention different artists than the ones he had on his list to give you a little more variety. No Fences -Garth Brooks (1990) No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problem -Kenny Chesney (2002) Mud On The Tires -Brad Paisley (2003) If You're Going Through h--- -Rodney Atkins (2006) Justin Moore -Justin Moore (2009) Halfway To Heaven -Brantley Gilbert (2010) Suffer In Piece -Tyler Farr (2015) Cold Beer Conversation -George Strait (2015) Traveler is my favorite album of 2015, Suffer In Piece would be my 2nd favorite. @Squid
Dec 22, 2015 Can someone hook me up with a link to Luke Bryan's last album, George Strait's. Tim McGraw's A place in the sun, Kenny's No Shoes, and Atkins If You're Going Through h---... All these are on my old, fried harddrive
