Big Mitch You never made me ran once

    May 10, 2015
Just purchased my Country On The River ticket today! It's a 3 night concert festival in Prairie Du Chein/Bridgeport Wisconsin. I went last year and had the time of my life. It's a 4 day s--- show. This years acts include Cole Swindell, Alabama, Jake Owen, Big & Rich, Jarrod Niemann, Dierks Bentley, and Randy Houser. (I know, I butchered those names) Should be a blast! I've already seen Cole Swindell once and he was great. I've wanted to see Dierks for years, so I'm happy that's finally happening.

New Brantley Gilbert is always nice, he re-released his newest album with 5 new tracks. One of which is a T.I. Remix of Bottoms Up that never should have been made though.

Nothing really came out in May but June looks pretty good.

    June 2nd-Billy Currington
June 9th-Montgomery Gentry and A Thousand Horses
    June 16th-Toby Keith
    June 23-Canaan Smith
    June 30th-Easton Corbin

Couple other release dates i noticed are Alan Jackson on July 17th and Luke Bryan on August 7th.

Anyways i was kinda tired of Toby Keith running out albums every October, but im glad he took a little more time to make this one.

Not a big fan of Brantley Gilbert's slow songs but that new Jake Owen isn't too bad.

Pretty much the only genre I absolutely cannot stand...cool to see how versatile the forum's taste is tho.

Lot of music I can't stand, you probably won't catch me dead posting in threads about artists/genre's I don't like though.

BG is probably my favorite country singer. Been a fan since I heard his first album and he's been getting better with each release.

Speaking of BG, this Saturday is about to be amazing. Kenny Chesney returns to Pittsburgh with Eric Church, Brantley Gilbert, Chase Rice, and Old Dominion. Kenny Chesney concert's here are legendary with the people, coverage, reactions, etc. No artist coming here gets this kind of reaction.

This may be my favorite line-up he's had come here. Kenny is, well, Kenny, I'm a big Chase Rice fan (North Carolina bias here, can't hate a proud Tar Heel), and Eric Church who used to be great but I hated his newest album except a few songs.

Hopefully I'm still alive Sunday to come back here and post.

Brantley is one of my favorite as of now too. Just As I Am was a great album. I like Chase Rice a lot too but some of his songs I feel stray into the Sam Hunt type of bs that we've heard lately. I just got into Eric Church a lot more recently, his older music is miles ahead of what he's done in the past 3 years.

Just found Aaron Watson recently and his last album has been one of my most played in the past 2 months. The Underdog and Bluebonnets are great songs.

Not sure, he's done a bunch of new songs at his live shows over the past months. I expect for him to release another solo album once he's done doing his shows. Saw him back in February by the way. Im a huge Aaron Lewis stan btw lol.

I've heard his "songs about trucks" and I remember liking it but never ventured into any more of his other stuff, definitely will look more into him.
