Nov 11, 2017 Why not both, fa----? His first three albums had songs with good and "deep" content but they sounded good too. His not so serious songs back then also sounded good. It's pretty much what made him successful in the first place. Déjà Vu on Relapse is another example. Walk on Water sounds trash simple as that. Whether it's the beat the melody the flow the delivery I don't know, it's just unpleasant to listen to. What's hilarious is you even admit this song is all content and not about "beat or melody". So tell me what happens after a few listens throughout the week? Where's the replay value? You gonna feel like bumping some music and blast some Walking on water? It amazes me how Stans will lower their standards and literally redefine the concept of music and pretentiously put the blame on other people for not liking a s-----y sounding song. With a straight face too. Like you serious? Music is supposed to sound good
Nov 11, 2017 I don't even know what the f--- these lyrics are about and it s----s on pretty much everything he's done for the past 15 years
Nov 11, 2017 There's a reason that when a kanye demo leaks, you hear him mumbling over the beat with random lyrics here and there to get the flow right. He makes sure the song sounds good and has a melodic angle for before writing to it. In b4 "bleached assholes lel" and of course kanye has some s--- lines but compared to em it's no contest in that department.
