    I was reading the FBI documents and noticed that Strange was selling s--- to pay for surgery. I feel quite bad for him now. The US healthcare system is evil.

    While he did have a surgery last fall he also timed his sales to bitcoin drops and stole 30 lyric sheets 10 years ago. And he also completed sales after paying for the surgery.

    This is such a crazy timeline. This entire situation is just insane. Was hoping for more REVIVAL leaks but it is what it is I guess.

    Crazy to think this is the end and we will never get any Eminem leaks ever again. I’ve read every last ounce of information on this case/timeline/history. Only a handful of people have access to that safe with all the hard drives, so nothing will ever leak again especially with this insane precedent being set with Dr. Strange.

    I am in the minority and honestly feel bad for lil Joe.

    Shady released a statement


    Joseph Strange, a former engineer at Eminem’s Ferndale, Michigan studio, is facing federal charges for allegedly leaking over two dozen unreleased Eminem songs. Prosecutors say Strange sold the music — recorded between 1999 and 2018 — to a Canadian buyer for $50,000 in Bitcoin. Fans reportedly pooled funds to finance the purchase.

    Eminem’s team has strongly condemned the leaks, with a spokesperson telling People magazine: “We will continue to take any and all steps necessary to protect Eminem’s art and will stop at nothing to do so”. They further emphasized the impact of the breach, stating, “The significant damage caused by a trusted employee to Eminem’s artistic legacy and creative integrity cannot be overstated”.


    Investigators traced the leak back to Strange after finding an identical file on a password-protected hard drive at the studio. Now facing charges of criminal copyright infringement and interstate transportation of stolen goods, Strange could receive up to 15 years in prison if convicted.

    Strange’s defender, Wade Fink, calls the charges “untested” and notes that Strange, a married father of two, had a long-standing career in the music industry before his firing in 2021. He does not specify what happened in 2021, leading to his client being fired from the studio.

    Also knowing that Strange had access to instrumentals from SSLP/MMLP, imagine what he's heard and had access to

    If I'm Joe's lawyer I am definitely using that post as a smoking gun to shift the narrative to the leakers. For all we know Grim and these other dudes hacked poor Joe and stole the music.
