Oct 12, 2015 Pretty much finished disk 2 now. Overall between both disks it's good but I don't know, it just kind of feels forced and it's lacking a key element. I feel like it's trying too hard to be something it's not. The skits I feel are added to make it more a story or something but they just don't fit in organically imo. I just feel like I should be more invested in it than I actually am. Doc 1 you bump start to end and it's got your attention straight away I just don't feel like this has a good continuous flow. I kind of get bored or start wandering away mentally from it and start thinking about my shopping list. I'm not hating on it I think it's got some good qualities but I don't think it's gonna be an album you revisit much in the future. I haven't listened to either disk an amazing amount of times but this is just my first thoughts.
Oct 12, 2015 Idk guys, I'm not feeling this album. Most of it is just ok. The only songs I love are Don't Trip and LA
Oct 12, 2015 Any early reviews on disc 2? I wasn't very impressed with disc 1 aside from a few songs. Doesn't sound like Doc1 at all, and it seems like he just took the 40 best songs he's recorded in the last few years and threw them together.
Oct 12, 2015 That's kind of how I feel about it. I feel like it's trying to force a feeling of continuity. The flow of the albums I just feel is missing something.
Oct 12, 2015 Disc 2 is a LOT better than disc 1 IMO. I love that Compton throwaway (moment of violence) , from adam, outside, my flag. Its not your typical game production but its dope! Still prefer his old production sound but it is what it is
