    But besides that the movie is good? Which others "celebrities" make a cameo in the film?

    Word more movies should do this digital rental thing, it's dope.

    Play it in theatres for a month then sell the stream for $5.00

    I enjoyed it. Many laughs.

    The whole "package in the butt" thing was over the top and juvenile.

    They'd probably have to wait a bit longer than a month cuz less people would pay to go to the theater if they knew it'd be available online within a month for half the price of one ticket. 2 or 3 months might work though. I agree the digital idea is nice though, bought the interview on youtube and played it on the TV through apple TV and watched it with the family earlier today.

    Word, if you watched it with 4 or 5 others, Sony made $6 off of all of you rather than the $40-$50 (minus costs) they would have made in theatres.

    There are major considerations to be made with this, but a shift to some form of digital distribution similar to this would be welcomed.

    A portion of the sales go to the ticket employees the cost of printing heating and cooling for the theatres rent for the land with a digital release its cost of a server and a domain. The cost will be lower and the cinemas don't take a cut like they do with the theatrical releases

    I think it may hurt DVD/blu ray sales but that's the only potential negative I can think of.

    I think a good plan would be something like this, movie is released in theaters for a month(maybe a little longer for more popular movies), released digitally after 6-8 weeks or so and then on DVD/blu ray with some extra features after 4-5 months or whatever. I'm sure they'd like to make as much $$ as possible from their releases so I could see something like this happening in the near future.

    I know some movies are already released digitally but I think that's only movies that don't come out in theaters or movies that are about to be on DVD/blu ray and have been out for a while.
