Jan 10, 2024 I’m just glad they didn’t cast Florence Pugh as Abby like some people were asking for. That would’ve been terrible.
Jan 11, 2024 I don’t mind her being Latina. They’re probably gonna change the characters up a bit anyway especially Abby
Feb 3, 2024 With it being said that TLOU2 will be split into multiple seasons, it’ll be interesting to see how the pacing of this season goes. Other news
Feb 4, 2024 The show can s--- a d-ck, TLOU3 has been confirmed . We will be able to play it in 5-10 years
Feb 4, 2024 That depends on how inclusive they want it to be Nah, it will be way better than season 1 now that they have a good actress, still nowhere near the game though
Feb 4, 2024 They were also supposed to have the mutliplayer game out last year and cancelled it a few months ago lol
Feb 4, 2024 The “No Return” mode in the TLOU2 remaster showed me how good the multiplayer mode could’ve been because of the massive focus on gameplay over story. TLOU2’s gameplay is so nice, satisfying, and fluid that if they made that into a multiplayer game it could’ve been amazing. I never played the multiplayer mode in the original TLOU but I heard a bunch of people liked that. It’s unfortunate but I guess Naughty Dog is just more used to making single player games
Feb 4, 2024 Gonna be interested to see how they split it, I'm sure they want Ellie and Abby to both have a decent amount of screentime but doing that means it would have to deviate from the structure of the game way more than the first season did. Or maybe they'll say f--- it and actually have a season for each character. Btw I also recommend the documentary that this information comes from, if any of y'all are remotely interested in how game dev works it's pretty decent.
Feb 4, 2024 I don't think these single player games need multi, never liked Uncharted's one for example
Feb 4, 2024 I actually watched it last night, and it’s very interesting. It gave me a lot more respect for the game and game development. I think some people, myself included, think games are more finished than they actually are when trailers come out. It was cool when they showed how their animation system works by blending together data sets of animations based on the situation for more natural movement and weight distribution. There was also the guy who basically spent years on the lighting system. Seeing super early gameplay from even before a pre-alpha was dope, some environments looked like PS1 graphics lol
