Mar 21, 2015 Have been binge rewatching all three in the past couple of weeks, and was wondering what everyone else thought. All ran on NBC for roughly the same time, and all have been well received critically, although ratings weren't that high (excluding The Office for a good period). Which is the best of the three?
Mar 21, 2015 The UK Office was a big step forward for modern TV. The US version has Steve Carrell as one of the best characters of all time. Parks & Rec imitated it until it hit its own stride which honestly wasn't in the same league imo. Plus Jim and Pam offered a love dynamic that actually worked as opposed to being shoehorned for no reason. 30 Rock just wasn't my cup of tea in regards to actually laughing. Same with Seinfeld. I enjoy them anyway however.

Mar 21, 2015 The Office is easily the best out of the three. In its first few seasons it was absolutely a contender for greatest television comedy of all time, and Parks and Rec while very good in it's own right, always seemed to live in its shadow. 30 Rock is great as well, but in a much different way, and it's behind the other 2 imo (though I would completely understand why someone would have it above Parks and Rec).

Mar 22, 2015 It took me awhile to get into Parks because at first it blatantly copied the office. It wasn't until the 3rd season when Adam Scott and Rob Lowe joined where it really started picking up. Not to say it wasn't funny before that but it really took off then.
