Aug 22, 2015 Nah, what you meant by it lol. Double primes aren't quotation marks either btw. That's artistic license as far as I'm concerned.
Aug 22, 2015 You're taking s--- too literal but perhaps I should've said MOST battle rappers instead of all.
Aug 22, 2015 Maybe I'll have to look into that. Don't mistake my hatred for the flow/yelling for a hatred for lyrics. I know most these cats have bars on bars on bars.

Aug 22, 2015 Who took dumbfounded/dizaster for you guys? I had Dizaster- best performance by him in a while (not a huge fan of him or watch all his battles). Let's go Rone/Kid Twist
Aug 23, 2015 Pat Stay came exceptionally mediocre- Illmac wasn't even at his best and won comfortably.
Aug 25, 2015 What do you guys think of Shuffle T? With Marlo, he's great, they're probably the best team in battle rap in my opinion. However I came across this battle the other day and was not expecting Shuffle to murk this guy so bad. Seriously. I was so use to the double battles, I didn't realize how much skill Shuffle had by himself. His multis are flawless, his punchlines are much more complex than most, and most importantly he knows how to win the crowd over. I gotta say battles like these are what makes me a fan. Just like Shuffle smashed Anton, I remember becoming a fan of Rone after he bodied Okwerdz. He crept into my top ten with this battle.
Aug 25, 2015 I've only watched two battles thus far. I really wasn't expecting these to be on YouTube so soon cause it took a while for the Back to Basics matches to eventually be uploaded., specifically the ones I was checking for at that event were The Saurus Vs. Rone, and Illmaculate vs. Carter Deems. Rone Vs. Kid Twist I feel like this battle could have been much better. The energy between them was subpar in comparison to their past performances. Both of them slipped up at parts though I will give props to Rone for freestyling when he forgot his lines, rather than pausing and wasting time trying to remember them. And as much as I love Rone, the sports references are getting really repetitive. Overall though, I will give it to Rone, but it's not an easy choice. Kid Twist brought up but it wasn't enough. Rone's bar about kid twists are lookin like he's doing the robot or the robot is doing the twist. His humor really works for him. Illmaculate Vs. Pat Stay IMO, Illmac took this battle easily. He brought his A-game. Pat kept slippin' and constantly reminding everyone he just wrote his verse which felt like a crutch to me. Ill just had better lines, crazy punches, sick multis as usual (I think he's the best at connecting multis) and his personals were insane. I knew the Calicoe battle would be used against Pat, and sure enough he flipped it several different times. Honestly he just brought way better material. I know Pat Stay will try to say that he didn't come with his best because he was ready to give up the chain. Anyway, they both spit some good s---, but Mac just did it better. Also I'm looking forward to Pat Stay vs Hollow Da Don. Is that confirmed? I'm gonna check out some more battles.
Aug 25, 2015 Psycoses Vs. Gin-I Never heard of Gin-I, but he started strong. However either he forgot his lines and started freestyling, or he was spitting something he wrote and he's just not that good. Psy on the other hand went hard in what I consider to be his best performance. The multis were in overdrive on this one, but I respect the way they connect and make sense in contrast to how most folks force them. Iron Solomon Vs. Daylyt I use to hate Iron Solomon. I don't know why, I just thought he was overrated, but he did the d--- thing. It tripped me out how Organik was telling him that the time was up for like another minute and Iron wouldn't quit spitting. Daylyt did his thing too, but it just wasn't as strong or memorable as what Solomon did. Head Ice vs. Real Deal This was probably the one battle I'm undecided on... They both did their thing, however I didn't find anything special in either one of their rounds. I rarely watch Head Ice battle because I focus more on KOTD than URL. He has a unique style but it seems simple. Real Deal didn't drop anything that would amaze me. I dunno. Dizaster VS. Dumbfounded This is imo, the best battle of the event, however I still haven't seen all the battles at this point. Even though it's disappointing to see two emcees both attacking each other with racist stereotypes, and then acting like they're beyond it. But Dumbfounded was in rare form. I was glad when I heard he was coming back. Diz is always nasty, plus I respect that you can tell he mixes writtens and freestyles in his verses together. I think Diz edged this one, and the roundhouse joke at the end was hilarious.
Aug 31, 2015 @Narsh @Charlie Strangelove you guys agree that loaded lux is the best battler out there? he is the only one where i feel he legit breaks down his opponent
Aug 31, 2015 Everyone copied him so he just sounds cliché to me. Not his fault, but it makes me less impressed.
Aug 31, 2015 im shocked hearing this from you, i feel the small details he does is phenomenal and i never heard anyone does it like he do...if you just hear his lyrics in the background vs cal or Hollow you probably will not be impressed..but if you rly listen into the details of how he is breaking them down, its incredible...also he was a complete monster when he was young
