    I honestly think it’s just a case of a disgruntled ex-employee. Not even Sanders jumped to her defense when asked about it. He said, he just wants to move forward. Unless she decides to make another book, I think her 15 seconds of fame are pretty much run up lol. Her book has come & gone & it’s come at the cost of her integrity.

    I agree, disgruntled indeed. Sanders not jumping to her defense ain’t much though, he always just kind wants to stay out of these kind of things and move on like you said.

    I think Donna had the right idea by trying to bring corrupt things about the democratic party to light, but she fell straight on her a--- when doing so. She wanted her 15 minutes of fame and to get the far right buzzing.

    Still think there are some things she knows but isn’t telling us.

    This was a really good piece. Like @Sign Language brought up, it’s a very relevant topic today on college campuses. As a college student & someone who works on a college campus, I think it’s an issue that kind of gets brushed under the table. I work as a supplemental instructor at the college I attend & we had a staff meeting about a month ago where we had to go through this hour long training on microagressions. Living in California & the Bay Area especially, I figured the training would be a bit ridiculous but jesus... some of the things these managers were telling us were microaggressions were just utterly ridiculous. I’m talking questions like “what ethnicity are you?” were being branded as “microagressions.”

    At first, I thought I was the only one who was rolling their eyes throughout this whole training but upon leaving & talking to some of my coworkers — a lot of them felt the same way but were afraid to say anything because they didn’t want to be branded as an a------ or anything. This is kind of what I mean by its being brushed under the table: colleges are increasingly wanting to police speech & while a lot of students have reservations, they keep quiet in fear of being labeled. At the end of the day, I do feel like it’s the college’s responsibility to insure all students feel welcomed but when it gets to the point of criticing questions/statements made in everyday/casual conversation that intend no malice what so ever — that’s just over board.

    I couldn’t agree with you more. And wow, hearing a California liberal criticize microaggression training shows how ridiculous it is lol. “What ethnicity are you?” being branded as a microaggression is a joke. That question is merely one of curiosity.

    I live in Texas so I don’t have to deal with any of that bs thankfully.
