    Not directly but the fact that they care (in some cases) more about racism or protecting refugees than safety makes me wonder if they realize how dangerous they are.

    Of course not lol. And thats not true. But with all things that happen I get that some countries/people are scared to take on refugees that could be from ISIS. Is it always right to think that? No. But I get it.

    I was just wondering. I get people being untrusting of allowing in refugees, just don't get assuming an entire religion is a terrorist faction which I've seen a lot of lately lol

    Even now up here in Washington state you got old a--- people walking up to my girl at work talking about the election, telling her that his buddy is a White House worker and that Barack and Michelle are Muslims lmao

    Oh no I don't feel like that at all. I know a lot of muslims who are good, hard working people.

    But with ISIS I don't think its weird that people don't want refugees that might be a part of ISIS in their country. Its wrong (imo) to just label them as 'racists'.

    Totally feel you on that, I don't WANT to prevent people from coming in but frankly I also dont know a better way to go about this whole situation. People will still find a way though.
    I will say this, that wall is still f---ing dumb lol

    Now those people are bad. Being sceptical is healthy, but saying all of them are like that is just wrong.
    Wall is a stupid idea and not gonna help at all I think. Better screening and kicking criminals/radical (muslims or whatever religion/race) out is good idea imo though

    Trump probably just culculated (low rate for materials + low rate for man hours + low rate for equipment per mile x 2000= $15B ) and then thought there could be up to $10B in spillage.

    Trump hasn't ever built a civil mega project... The Wall's most expensive component will be it's logistics.

    1) Man-camps need to be built, maintained and moved. Most of The Wall is away from civilization... Workers need to be housed and fed.... For a 2,000 mile project, this alone will cost billions of dollars.

    2) Access roads to stage material, workers, camps, and equipment. To bring the things needed to build The Wall, we will need to build roads directly from cities and towns to the border.... This costs lots of money. Could cost as much as The Wall itself. Then as an unintended consequence... There will be a network of roads leftover from the project to the border that would make it easier for illegal aliens to traverse the border.

    3) Project surveys, immanent domain buyouts, enviromental impact studies, spill clean up team, erosion and sediment control, security and EMT for the workers + a modern safety program.


    4) staging sites, sites created to maintain vegetation removed from the projects, landfills made for construction debris and food waste from workers, septic sytems for the workers human waste.


    5) Concrete walls and access roads are made from gravel, sand and water.... The demand for these building materials will greatly outpace the supply in the project area... That will mean we will need dozens if not hundreds of new quarries, gravel pits, wells and water towers.





    Trump's numbers are laughably low.



    And yes I know Obama has deported a lot of illegal immigrants... Way more than George W. Bush... Plus, thanks to new technology (drones and modern cell tower system with way more coverage) more and more people are caught at the border.

    The Wall is 700 year old anti-Mongolian technology.
