Every time I see the CIA "confirm" something all I think is how convenient it is that we usually can't (understandably) see their proof or source

Wasn’t just the CIA, the Turkish government came to the same conclusion as well. There are tapes of the journalist’s torture/murder as well as tapes of high ranking Saudi officials conspiring to kidnap/murder the journalist. The Saudis have admitted as much & are prosecuting the officials who are responsible for his murder but are covering for their prince.

60 minutes did a mind boggling segment on Trump’s child seperation policy on the border last spring. If any of you have the time, I highly suggest you watch it (click the article & video is there). It’s less than 15 min. Biggest take always for me though:
-DHS was sending out arrest warrants for *literal* children
-DHS/Border Patrol was entirely unprepared for the policy.
•They didn’t keep detailed records of the families separated so when the courts ruled for families to be reunited, the trump administration had no idea what child belonged to which family or where they had deported the parents.
•The seperation of child from parents became so traumatic that government agents would lie to the parents that their child was going to be given medical attention or a shower & then they would be told later that they wouldn’t be able to see their child for an undisclosed amount of time.
•Due to language barriers, government agents would struggle to communicate with the children & parents which left families confused & stressed.
•medical personnel who weren’t trained to work with children gave the children higher dosages of medicines & vaccinations than they were suppose to.
-The family separation policy actually began 9 months before the Trump administration acknowledged during a “pilot program” at the El Paso sector which ran for 5 months. There is no documentation of how many children were separated from their parents in that 5 month span.

“US President Donald Trump is railing against General Motors' decision to close plants and ax about 14,000 jobs, something his trade war helped trigger in the first place.

When listing reasons behind the job cuts on Monday, GM tiptoed around trade policy and blamed a host of other factors. But the company has been much more direct in its criticism of Trump's trade war in the past.

Earlier this year, GM lowered its profit forecasts for 2018, citing higher steel and aluminum prices caused by new US tariffs. And in June, GM warned that trade tariffs could lead to job losses and lower wages, telling the Commerce Department that higher steel tariffs would affect competitiveness.

The automaker, which employs about 110,000 workers, on Monday said it planned to halt production at a plant in Ohio, a state that voted for Trump in 2016.” https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.bu...-for-job-losses-caused-by-his-tariffs-2018-11

Trump may cause another recession by the time he’s out of office. Still agree on strict border control. The US population doesn’t need 10 million people fleeing here getting free Medicare. When my back was all f----- up I ended up having to pay a few grand out of my pocket just to get the mri’s done. Including out of pocket doctor appointments and medications. You can watch a lot of interviews from people trying to flea here, and they directly say they hope to get free Medicare once they cross. That’s bs when a lot of people Ik who work but can’t afford health insurance.
My income was considered too high to obtain a Medicaid card (when I needed one the most a few years ago), which is ridiculous because I didn’t make a lot year around. Just the spring and summer where I make most of my money.

Regardless of Trump, the U.S. is due for another recession. Economy always goes up & down, it’s going to correct itself eventually. The question is, how bad is this next recession going to be? Trump’s policies on trade, his deregulation of the financial sector, & tax reform could make it really bad.

Sounds like you would benefit from universal healthcare. Sucks the U.S. doesn’t have it like d--- near every other developed nation in the world.

I understand how he and everyone wants everything built in the U.S., but everything is just going to cost more to buy if we go that route. It is an interesting idea, but it requires a change first before implementing the tariffs. You can't just create tariffs without a f---ing plan.

Step #1: Figure out how to produce steel demand in U.S.
Step #2: Figure out how to produce steel at a competitive price vs. outsourcing price
Step #3: Create tariffs, give companies a choice to pay the U.S. price or foreign price

I'm no genius by all means, but I do have common sense.

How many ex-Trump officials have to come out & claim “trump broke the law” or “trump attempted to break the law” before Republicans start to take this s--- seriously?

@Enigma you hear that Mitch McTurtle said the senate will vote on the First Step Act? From what I’ve read on it the bill seems like a step in the right direction. Doubt it’ll pass in a Republican senate though.

Would be great if it passed! Trump has announced support for it which is one of the few good things he’s done. Like you said though, far-right Republicans in Congress will probably k--- it.
