lol yeah this is pretty embarrassing by trump. You can tell he never took a science college class or anything related to it. I think it comes down to his ego really. He waited for the worst part of winter to come and post this s---. Obviously it’s going to be f---ing cold, at this time of the year where states that have winters. He’s just trying to keep his uneducated fan base entertainined with the idea global warming doesn’t exist theory. He’s clueless when it comes to earths environment.

Honestly for future president candidates, I think making the president have so many college credits to qualify would be a good idea. That would keep celebrities just using their popularity from becoming president. Not taking earths environment serious could lead to a fatal extinction of some species. Definitely need to take some steps now to avoid a major catastrophe in 50-100 years. Trump clearly knows he’ll be dead within 20 years so he just doesn’t give a f--- imo. A president should always be looking at the future even after their time on earth will be over. Trump is just a little too selfish.

If a centrist, establishment backed candidate who uses weasel words is the Dem nominee in 2020, Trump will get re-elected.

Gabbard, Bernie and MAYYYBE Liz warren are the only ones who would beat Trump. They’re the most populist out of the field and would win the rust belt.

Andrew Yang would also beat Trump, but he has very little name recognition

i think someone in the middle of centrist and far left has the highest chances.

Clinton, Biden, Booker, Gillibrand reek of establishment and just seem unremarkable as candidates overall.

but i don't see the extreme left, maximum wage, eliminate private healthcare, abolish ICE, cultural appropriation, super socialist types havin a chance either. moderate dems and the repubs alienated by Trump won't be too keen of them. especially in the rust belt. i think Kamala, Tulsi (with her bizzare foreign policy), Warren are gonna struggle in electability. of this group, Bernie is prob the only one that can win cause he has such a goliath of a following.

a balanced candidate would be the strongest. Klobuchar would be ideal in electability. progressive but grounded, and with a good reputation among blue collar midwesterners. Beto too. rly good idea for him to run right about now.

I think a lot of people are over adjusting & taking the wrong lessons from 2016. So many #hottakes that we need someone on the far left to beat trump or we need a moderate to beat trump or we need a white male candidate to beat trump. All of these are wrong & misses the fact that a lot of things had to fall Trump’s way for him to win in 2016. He faced a very unpopular candidate with a long political history which carried a ton of baggage (not all necessarily legitimate baggage but baggage nonetheless), swing voters in rust belt states took a chance on him, the Comey letter in the final weeks of the campaign shifted momentum, etc. He’s not going to get all these breaks again. Swing voters in those same rust belt states overwhelming voted blue in the past midterm. Democrats just need someone who’s young, engaging & a new face.
