Biden is on the decline. He’s weak against Trump. He won’t be the Dem nom. Warren, Bernie or Yang will beat Trump. Mark my words

This isn't new Idk why they're making this out to be like the U.S is betraying the Kurds and the Kurds will be exterminated by Turkey now. The Kurds needed ISIS gone way more than the U.S did so they both benefited from each other's help. That's the extent of this "brotherhood" between U.S and Kurds throughout history. Unless there was some agreement that the Kurds were to fight ISIS only if the U.S agreed to permanently stay there after and get involved in another centuries old middle eastern rivalry. Both Kurds and Turkey are extremely strategically important to the West.

This awkward fragile alliance-rivalry-neutrality between the U.S, Turks and Kurds is the reason why the U.S and E.U have been able to keep the portal to h--- between east and west (Turkey) locked while also receiving help from the only capable and sane group in the M.E the Kurds

That being said, leaving Syria now is r-----ed because the Syrian war is still happening

U.S.-Kurdish cooperation dates back to the early 1900s w/ the Americans continuously f---ing them over & once again here. Kurds have been a valuable American ally in the Middle East. They were/are essential to combating ISIS in the region. Pulling out of the region now not only leaves the Kurds susceptible to abuses from Erdogan but also leaves a power vacuum that could lead to the resurgence of ISIS or other extremist groups. Kurds control numerous jails occupying thousands of ISIS fighters on the Syrian border. This conflict makes those jails seriously compromised. Diplomatically, it just looks terrible. The United States doesn’t support its allies. That’s the message it sends.

All right I'll save the laughing gifs for WPG and Enigma (who liked his post). To you I'll just say, "told ya so, now you can either b---- and moan for 4 more years or you can educate yourself on what real populism is and is not. Hint: it doesn't involve raising everyone's taxes and mass immigration from the Third World)
Even if it's not entirely true that doesn't make it a "conspiracy theory" lol. This is just standard political mudslinging, stop clutching your pearls snowflake boy.

I agree pulling out is stupid for a lot of reasons and the kurds deserve better. But the narrative of it all seems to be downplaying the fact that this situation is the result of the genius plan to overthrow Assad in the first place by arming every man and his dog and groups like FSA or kurds/SDF, all with their own motives (Rojava?) to fight the war. And as a direct consequence having to fight for their f---ing lives against ISIS.

Erdogan is a piece of s--- but Turkey is a vital ally (and i say that loosely) for the U.S and E.U which is why we don't get involved much in their feud with Kurds. Now in northeast syria we got this well armed kurdish region along the Turkish border seeking recognition. Also bordered by iraqi kurdistan who are also seeking recognition. What was the plan here? to get actively involved in helping create an independent Kurdish federation? Not that the Kurds don't deserve their own country but at what cost and how far off track is this r-----ed war meant to go? Even Kurds weren't expecting the U.S to get involved in their s--- that far

If anything I do hope this sends a clear message to any "ally" or group in the world seeking recognition or independence through armed revolt that achieving this with U.S/E.U help will ever have a happy ending.

You know what I assumed this was also the reasoning behind Trump and his advisor’s decision to withdraw, but wtf at this

I thought Turkey clearly stated in the past that it plans to move in to secure the border? Is this really a surprise to Trump or is the U.S just gonna try blend in with the crowd and play ignorant

    Also, 200 years..nice

The goal was seemingly deal with ISIS & worry about everything else later. Nonetheless, I don’t think the U.S./EU were ever going to keep their hands clean of the Turks/Kurds issue. Not saying either should/would fully throw their weight behind Kurdish independence but diplomatic options could have been taken. The U.S. was in position to negotiate some kind of cease fire/stand down—even if it was just for the short term. Pulling out & saying “f--- it” because a solution isn’t in sight is just reckless imo.

There’s a sunset provision for the working class. Under his plan people under 75K get a tax hike after a certain period. However, for the rich and corporations the tax cuts are permanent

how does amazon not pay any taxes after making billions in profits? Ha, Trump ramped this s--- up for the elite corporate class

Trump has continued the status quo. His tax plan is Bush tax cuts on roids. Working class picks up the tab when corporations gets massive cuts

Also, Medicare for all saves millions and millions of Americans from paying a monthly private tax to for profit health insurance companies. And no co-pays and outrageous medical bills. So Bernie’s Medicare for all plan saves people way more $$ than Trump’s tax plan. Bernie is for the working class, trump is for himself and the other elites
