You don't need higher education to get a good job. There's literally thousands and thousands of jobs available you could live off of. Factory and construction jobs mentioned come to mind. The real answer here is take your own life by the horns and quit waiting for captain government to save you. It's that lazy piece of s--- attitude and victim mentality that leads to socialistic ideas which leads to bread lines

Yes, the oh so dependable factory jobs that haven’t been dispersing from automation for the past several decades now. Never said you need higher education for a good paying job but it’s increasingly more common to need one. Especially if you’re someone who doesn’t want to destroy their body doing construction for 30 years & then have to live with a flow of medical bills when you’re older.

You can make excuses all day, bottom line jobs are available in record numbers today. If rent needs paid it needs paid quit thinking like a loser and go put in the work.

Also factory jobs are coming back at rapid rates by all things I've seen. Again, personal knowledge of my own surrounding area tells me this.

I'm surrounded by them daily. The big city of Cincinnati (where I work my day job, I know crazy a KY redneck made it all the way to the big show) has a huge issue with them. And 99% percent are cool with standing on exits and begging you for whatever you have while the city is undergoing massive construction projects and business building all around them. A homeless person could very very easily get an entry level job, h--- you won't believe this but half of them seem to be able to buy beer and cigarettes? Weird

Look dude, no one gives s--- about your personal experiences. This anecdotal bs that conservatives *always* pull “well..in my hometown..” bla bla bla. It means nothing. When we talk about public policy, we need facts. We need numbers. We need research & studies. What can be done to address said problem? Which solutions will work best? How much funding do we allocate to these solutions? etc. This is how government operates. Not based on some flimsy personal story that no one can verify or quantify. Nobody gives a s--- about that.

If you honestly believe a homeless person can *easily* obtain a job—you’re fucken stupid. Do you know rates of drug abuse & mental illness that run in the homeless population? It’s high...very high. Employers are not hiring these people when there are other people applying in more stable conditions. f--- out of here.

Yeah drug abuse is someone else's fault forsure. And mentally ill people deserve help, plain and simple. But it's hard to give it to them when they're drowning in seas of lazy people
