    Also, you know trump.... if he goes down, it won't be quietly lol. He'll paint it as the establishment setting him up and taking him down. He'll infuriate his base with bs in attempt to drag down the GOP with him.

    So republicans in congress had to postpone the vote in their new healthcare bill because they don't have the votes to pass it. Republicans can only afford 22 republicans to vote no; currently 30 republicans say they will vote no. That's not accounting for moderate republican who are "leaning towards no." You would think they would have figured this out over the past 7 years but nope.

    I'm confused. I haven't had a whole lot of time to read this morning but I initially read Trump gave the Pass it or I'll leave Obamacare ultimatum but now I'm reading Paul Ryan is getting his way and they're repealing without replacing?

    No... There is no straight just repeal bill... Like there was a few dozen time when Obama was President.

    There is a repeal with a replace (basically all the bad parts of the ACA and tax breaks for the wealthy) that is dying in the House right now.


    There won't be any changes in healthcare any time soon.

    You really can't overstate how bad this is for the GOP

    They have a Senate majority and an enormous House majority, and the Presidency. They've been preaching that Obamacare is a disaster for 8 years. And Trump won by selling himself as the world's best dealmaker

    They couldn't even bring this up for a vote.

    Genuinely humiliating stuff

    The Dow fell down 350 points this week. Everyday we find out more and more that Paul Manafort and Michael Flynn are Eastern European thugs for hire.

    Trump's lies against Obama was proved to be bs.

    Plus, this was the weakest attempt at legislating of a majority party of all time.

    It's amazing that the Republicans campaigned relentlessly on repealing Obamacare for 7 years... They stopped legislating and shutdown the Goverment several times with the rally of ending Obamacare.

    They got huge majorties in both houses and a Republican President... They then crafted a way worse healthcare bill and killed it themselves in the first stage.


    Now they just won't talk about healthcare anymore.
